Good standby battery

I am updating my review of this product because amazon will take blame for any 1 2 and 3 stars so you cant see them but I want all to know so 5 stars all the way I got this and installed it thinking that I would get more life out of it that it would give me some more time to play the games I love but it last less then the original lucky I didn't through the original away so i can reinstall it this thing is junk last about 3 hours from full the original gave me about 5 to 6 DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS

Honestly the main reason why I got this was for more gaming time. Which it does do, but the reason why I took off a star is because the battery acts weird. So after you install it (and deal with the pesky ribbon.) It does hold more of a charge, But while charging it will go from 0 to 80 somewhat normal charging speed, but as soon as it goes from 80 to 100, it basically doubles the time to charge. And when it is not charging and I am playing it to actively drain the battery, from 100%-80% is gone almost instantly. But from 80% to 27% it goes very slowly (the part I like). Now finally once it hits 27% its almost like it's now a countdown. And it will drain the last 27% and power off in maybe 15 min. So it does the job, but it's wonky. So 4 stars it is. And that's generous. The battery charge is annoying.

Drop in for for my Japanese vita 2000! Took Maybe 5 minutes to install, battery life is back to normal.

Installed into my vita and charged for about an hour. Vita turned on, then Immediately off. After that, the Vita refused to turn on with this battery installed. I tried multiple cables and power bricks. I tried reseating the battery and connector, but nothing changed. The battery is a dud. Reinstalled my OEM battery and everything is working as it should. Looks like I’m out $15 as it’s a waste of time and effort to return it at this point.

So far it's a 5 star battery. Love the inclusion of the tools to replace the battery and it fits without having to modify the vita. The addition of the adhesive pads are a great thing so that I feel it's more secure. Only time will tell how it holds up

the battery works great but the included screwdriver was some how molded out of the hole and not really useable. i have my own so it wasn’t to much of an issue but for people who don’t just know there’s a chance of this happening.
