Best lip balm
I have very dry lips, which I blame on not drinking enough water. However, I can confidently say that this product has been a game-changer for me. I was recommended it after my lip blush procedure, and I’ve been using it ever since. It hydrates my lips effectively and helps them heal and feel smoother. Plus, it has a wonderful scent.

Finally, a lip balm that actually works (and doesn't make you look greasy)
As a guy, I've always found most lip balms pretty unappealing—they leave a shiny look that makes you feel self-conscious, almost like you're wearing lip gloss. But the La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Lip Balm B5 totally changed my mind. This stuff goes on clear and has a true matte finish, so there's no greasy shine or makeup look. My lips look natural and healthy, nothing flashy. I put it on in the morning, and it lasts for hours, only needing a touch-up after eating, brushing my teeth, or washing my face. Even in cold, dry weather, it keeps my lips moisturized and free of cracks. If you're a guy who usually avoids lip balm because of the shine, give this one a shot—it's discreet, effective, and actually something I don't mind carrying around. Highly recommend it.

Great product! Worked when nothing else did.
Winter weather brought me dry, chapped and sore lips. My usual drug store brand, a high end brand and even an antibiotic ointment didn't help at all. After reading some good reviews of this product I decided to give it a try and am so glad I did! I put it on before bed and woke up with much improved lips. It took a couple days to completely heal and this product kept me comfortable during the healing process. The lip balm goes on clear and has no fragrance or weird taste. I was so impressed with the product, I bought a few more tubes to make sure I always have one with me.

Hydrating and gentle, but a bit small ✅
La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Lip Balm keeps my lips hydrated and soft. The texture is smooth and easy to apply, and it absorbs quickly without feeling sticky. It has no strong scent or taste, which is nice for daily use. It works well on dry or chapped lips, but I wish the tube was slightly bigger and the moisture lasted a bit longer. Overall, it’s gentle, effective, and a good quality lip balm.

Cures Lips
This will cure your lips and protect them (no spf though). I think of it like a skin barrier treatment. It's going to moisturize and seal. It's really too thick for the applicator but there's no scent, no taste. I doubt thermal spring water does anything but in my experience if you want fairly mid range priced effective skin stuff that seals in moisture, this brand's cicaplast is pretty amazing. Expensive for what you get but at minus 35F wind chill, it works.

Does a great job, but there are cheaper alternatives
This works great, but it is definitely. not groundbreaking enough to justify the price. You will be just as well served with the cheaper version of the same product by Aquaphor. I do not feel like this version or this brand produced anything more hyrdrating or longer lasting or more soothing. It works wonderfully - definitely does the job - but I also have Aquaphor in a similar tube for a fraction of the cost and I did not feel like La Roche-Posay's version did a better job. Unless it is selling for the same price - I would not purchase this over Aquaphor's version.

Best for dry and cracked lips
I live in Wisconsin and my lips get sooooo dry in the winter. This winter has been the worst by far since I moved here in 2019 and my lips have been cracked and peeling all winter. My go to is Nivea but I have also been trying Aquaphor as well. I even started using the Kiels brand to see if it would help my lips. I also just put pure vitamin E oil on my lips at night. Nothing has been helping. I did some research and found this on a list of recommended products if your lips are extremely try. I've had it for a week and my lips have been the best so far, and it's been in the negatives during the day all week. Highly recommend.

My new Laneige dupe!
I’ve struggled with dry lips for years, and in the winter they get so bad they even crack and bleed. I’ve been using the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask for a long time and I truly love it — it works great — but it’s definitely on the pricey side. I decided to try La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Lip Balm B5 as a more budget-friendly option, and I’m so glad I did. This has taken my lips from painfully dry and bleeding to soft, smooth, and hydrated. I use it every night before bed and wake up with lips that feel healthy again. The texture is rich, lasts all night, and doesn’t feel sticky. This is officially my Laneige dupe — highly recommend!

My son went through a long course of retinoid treatment for acne, and this lip balm was our lifesaver for an entire year. His lips were extremely dry, and he used this balm several times a day - it helped tremendously. The balm provides great hydration and feels very soothing on the skin. If anyone is dealing with the same issue, I highly recommend this product.
