Seat itself looked good. The mounting assembly will not snug up in the fender as it has too much play when fully tightened. This leaves the seat to swing off to the side. Basically doesn't fit a 97 XL1200

My husband has an XL1200 but he doesn’t have a stock seat. Since he doesn’t have the stock seat in front, which is shorter than his seat, this didn’t fit. We were able to take his seat off and put this one on the bike without his seat & it was actually soft & comfortable! It’s unfortunate it didn’t fit but that’s not the seats fault or quality!! If this seat would’ve fit with his current seat, we would’ve kept it but we ended up returning the seat because it wouldn’t fit with his current seat. *I gave 4 stars due to the seat not coming with installation instructions. I understand it’s a semi-universal seat & maybe people who have been in the game for a while know how to install it but for newer riders, it’s fairly intimidating to try and figure it out on your own.*

Very comfortable for the price!

I ordered these seats mainly bc I wanted a passenger seat. It comes with no instructions and I tried everything possible to make it work but no luck. I still don’t have a passenger and now my back fender is scarred bc I couldn’t wait to pick up a hot chick.

The seat comes with fender mounted stud that goes under the center of the seat, and the rear bracket bolts to the fender rack bolt.

La calidad es acorde al precio. La descripción dice que es para Sportster 883xl pero queda demasiado atrás. Si tu Harley tiene sissy bar el aciento queda demasiado atrás por lo que no es funcional y cómodo para el copiloto. Por lo anterior no le doy más de 3 estrellas. No lo te comento mucho

Mounts perfect, but foam and covering are not great quality. Still, I wasn't expecting too much with the price. I will likely take the bottom plate and reupholster in leather or vinyl.
