Perfect to begin with! Works very quickly but stops very quickly
Fantastic! I have a 5 year old Jaffy (Jack Russel Cross staffy) who we were recently told has been barking every time she is left alone and has done since she was a puppy, we tried leaving food puzzles, turning radio/TV on, allowing her access to our bed and a calming collar and nothing worked so tried this expecting very little and the first day she wore it she barked a little when we left for work but then quietened down then today (day 2) I actually got a text message asking if we were home as she has not made a sound!! So so happy as means we don't have to rehome her (rented property) would highly recommend, front is a little tricky to get off initially and it did irritate my girl to begin with as the collar has to be on quite tight for it to work but she only scratched at it for a little while and hasn't bothered with it since. Instructions are easy to read and I read elsewhere it is advised to not leave it on continuously so I take it off when I get home and only out it on her if she is going to be alone. No electric shocks just an annoying beep and vibrate. Very happy and would highly recommend EDIT : THIS STOPPED WORKING AFTER A COUPLE MONTHS AND SINCE PURCHASING HAVE HAD TO CHANGE THE BATTERY 4 TIMES!! ALSO VIBRATE FUNCTION HAS TOTALLY STOPPED SO NOW IT JUST MAKES NOISE, DOG NOW BARKS AGAIN EVEN WHEN WEARING IT.

Worked at first 3 weeks in and they stopped
I liked that at first it worked but it was short lived, I like that it was humane and effective and I brought two! One for each dog as my neighbours were recording and informing me of the dogs behaviours when I was out between 5mins to 3hrs and they were relentlessly howling and barking (my first dog didn't do it but started when the other came along). My issue is the vibration stopped working just 10 days after the return date expired, batteries are fine in the collar! But the Collar has stopped working. Also it appears to be uncomfortable as the prongs are hard and will dig in and cause discomfort, so not for perminant use. Personally a waste of £20 that could have been spent on a much better collar.... Cheap is not always rewarding!

When it works it works well
Easy to set up and put on my dog, seemed to work reliably and it discouraged him when he did bark. Now seems to not activate reliably and he can bark multiple times in a row without it doing anything.

Very surprised.
Our barking mad 18 month old little madame has been a nuisance barker ever since she was a puppy, but we always felt the behaviour was a combination of being young, a cross breed of two terriers and having untrained owners (us!). We've tried many anti-barking training techniques but most of this training requires endurance to ignore the barking and reward when she's being quiet. Unfortunately it's very hard to ignore her pain staking acute ear piercing bark, one that reverberates off the walls and windows indoors and outdoors. Therefore we end up bending to her every command, toys, treats, going outside, play time - anything to appease her to stop the barking. The line was crossed last week when she became so loud when out on a walk people were giving us a wide birth. Passers by don't realise that barking is her only bad habit and she's actually a very friendly, loving, playful little thing and loves to meet other dogs and people. We love her with all our hearts, so we would never use a product that distressed her, hurt her or made her uncomfortable. We bought this collar as a last resort and gave it a rigorous test before putting it around her neck. I even put it around my own neck to test it, if it was too uncomfortable for me then it was too uncomfortable for her. I found the device's two 'prongs' that make contact with the skin felt okay and did not dig into the skin. The beeping is quite loud and in comparison to the vibration the beeping itself is more distracting overall. The vibration is gentle. So, with high hopes and our fingers crossed we put the collar on our dog. At first we noticed it wasn't going off when she barked, so we had to adjust the sensitivity a few times to get it accurate. The first time it went off (the beep - it didn't even get to the vibration stage which goes off after 2 warning beeps), she looked surprised and stopped barking. We noticed a change in her behaviour almost immediately. She began using quieter cries to get our attention, and looked at us instead. She became calm, began playing with her toys and chewing her bone, sat on our laps and was completely relaxed. Later, we took the collar off, and she continued to use quieter means of communication. We were dubious it could have worked so quickly, so the following day I put the collar back on her when she became very barky when I had just arrived home. Just putting the collar on stops the barking. She even resisted barking at the cat! It would appear she associates the collar with the noise and she understands what will happen if she barks. She's been quiet ever since. She's not afraid of the collar and does not try to remove it or avoid it when I put it on her. I have high hopes (and I'm holding my breath) that the new desired behaviour will continue. We are very surprised. If you're not sure and you're still skeptical, you can take this from me: the most important thing is it doesn't harm them. So for the price, it's worth a try.

This works! Hurray
I inherited a dog who starts up protest barking incessantly about 4am or 5am when shut in the kitchen at night. It's not a loud bark, just a soft complaint but due to incessant nature is very irritating. When I received the package it said the device should not be used at night - oh no! But that is what it was bought for! She's a cocker poo so I clipped her neck and was concerned about peoples comments about the prongs. I put the device on my neck and couldn't feel the prongs, so rationalised should be fine. I did have to turn the sensitivity up due to her quiet bark and although I never heard it beep because of being upstairs I guess we found she stopped barking after 3 nights, and has no discomfort in the morning or dislike of wearing the collar. Its 10 days on now and I can sleep undisturbed hurray!

Amazing
I was being driven mad by my dogs relentless barking, at the TV at birds in the garden, every time I went into the kitchen, she would just bark non stop to the point where it was unbearable, I had tried a water spray, a anti bark plug & even an app on my phone, but someone recommended this to me so I ordered it out of desperation, It is great, easy to assemble, comes with a battery so just put it on & all set, this still allows the dog to bark but only activates with excessive barking, it beeps a few times as a warning to the dog & then sends out a vibration is it persists, the dog eventually learns to stop barking at the beeps before the vibration, I would highly recommend & it not at all harmful to the dog. :) Well worth the money.

I had neighbours complaining about my pups barking. (Small breed). This did nothing but make them want to chew at their neck and they barked louder when the “alarm” went off at them. They were more annoyed with it then anything.
