Maharajah Indian Rosewood Thacket Lamp Table

I'd already bought an Indian Rosewood Coffee Table and was looking for a lamp table for the same room. Rosewood/Sheesham Wood furniture has quite a distinctive irregular grain which I personally was not too keen on initially. However, being hardwood, it's extremely strong and durable. The tables have definitely grown on me and attracted quite a few positive comments from people.The legs need to screwed on to the table which only takes 10 minutes, there's quite a decent spanner included in the box. My experience of opening the box was exactly the same as with the coffee table. There's a decent amount of protective wrapping around the table, however straight out of the box I was disappointed with the table. I wouldn't advise opening it up on a light coloured carpet as the packaging had a dusting of dark brown sawdust on it. The nuts and bolts looked old and had some rust on them and I could see slight imperfections on the underside of the table. However, once the legs were attached and the table placed upright it looks stunning.I have found another seller online, not on Amazon, who is selling the same table for half the price I paid which is annoying but other than that I have no regrets with this table.If you tend to buy your furniture from somewhere like IKEA, this table probably isn't for you. However, if you're looking for something more distinctive, something that's solid and will last for years, then I'd recommend you take a look at this table and other furniture in the same range.

A very sturdy table that matches our other furniture and very eady to assemble. Excellent value for money

Just wanted something to match the coffee table that we had which it does very nicely. Nice looking piece of furniture.
