It must be distilled water not just purified water. Purification does not eliminate the heavy metals in the water. Only the distillation process can remove heavy metals. C-pap users cannot use tap, spring or purified water . They all contain heavy metals that must be breathed by the patient. Tragic consequences ensue when the patient misunderstands the difference. The large size of the container reduces the need to replace the water refill frequently . Value is enhanced and push button on big container is a breeze to fill c-pap water tank! No over filling. No damage to your lungs. Reread your patient c-pap directions carefully . Don’t be a misinformed and damaged individual.

The water is wonderful, it's distilled water, what is there not to like? There is definitely room for improvement in the spigot container however. The plastic is weak and thin so when dispensing water with the spigot down as it is intended to be, the container collapses with each use and stays collapsed. I had a totally collapsed container with my first one. I figured out it does better if you stand the container up so the handle is on the side and the bottle is upright with the spigot on top. This is inconvenient for dispensing since you either have to tip the container over or hold it in your hand to get water out and it's heavy. It still dispenses an uneven flow, but the container does not collapse this way.
