Best Bang for your buck
This isn’t my first set of ct sounds, bought these for the work truck, sound great adds more bass than factory audio. Ct sounds is great bang for your buck and also bang ( sound ) for your buck. These would be better with an amp but again it’s for a work truck…

Better than stock replacement on factory head unit only
Fact: CT Sounds is the best value for your hard earned dollar. Tropo and Meso line of speakers are built tough, sound great. However, these Tropo "slim" mount coaxials are NOT up for the task. If you want to add aftermarket power and pair a set of speakers with that extra power, look elsewhere, or step up to the Meso level. (Though, no shallow mount speakers are available in CT's upper lines). Pros: Point source tweeters for aligned highs Shallow baskets for door speakers to clear windows Good for factory amplification Cons: Weak low/mid output. Cones bottom out with +50 watts of amplification Simply not loud enough to keep up with other tweeters and subs After days of EQ tweaking, I gave up on them and installed a more robust set, and only sacrificed .375 inch in clearance.

Sound absolutely amazing!) Completely changed the clarity and volume now I have to change the 6.9s in the front due do to the upgrade cause they sound awful comparing.
