Lovely to use
Have very reactive skin with rosacea and was always getting breakouts, I started using this and my skin calmed down a lot. I Use this with a plain moisturiser and now I hardly get any redness or breakouts at all. Gently on the skin and No smell to it and it absorbs quickly into the skin. Quite expensive but it does last a long time.

You won't regret trying it!
I’ve been dealing with rosacea since 2019, after having B12 injections that triggered it. I tried countless treatments....both through doctors and even privately...but nothing really helped. By last year, I was ready to give up. Then I came across this product and thought, “I have nothing to lose.” Honestly, this cream has given me my confidence back. My acne rosacea has completely cleared, and for the first time in years, I feel comfortable in my own skin. Now, I simply wash my face morning and night and apply this cream straight after....no moisturiser or anything else, because this is all I need. If you’re unsure, I really hope you read this and give it a try. It might sting a little at first (mine did for the first couple of months), but it’s absolutely worth it. I’m so grateful I found it.

Skin feels softer and smoother within days
I’m not sure whether I have rosacea or not as I’m waiting on a very long list to see a dermatologist. I decided to try azelaic acid to see if it improves my skin. So far, it has massively improved the texture of my facial skin. It’s so much smoother, the pimples/bumps have gone and it’s looking more radiant and hydrated. I’m still quite red, so will continue to use it and see if that improves, but even if it doesn’t, my skin feels nicer already and I’ll just use a green tinged cream to cover up when I need to. I did find it stings a little when you first start using it, but it wears off after an hour or so and your skin does get used to it. It doesn’t have a horrible scent, you only need a little so it lasts a long time and offers excellent value, and it’s a great quality product.

Magic in a bottle
This product is magic! I have super sensitive skin, and have been struggling with perioral dermatitis for months now and nothing else has been able to solve it. I have only been using this for 2 weeks and already all of the dermatitis has healed and is gone. Overall my skin looks much more even, feels more smooth and is so glowy. Couldn’t be happier and this has now become one of my holy grail products!

Good but has drawbacks
Works after a while but if you have inflamed skin you will find it difficult to cope with the stinging and itching it causes

holy grail
my absolute holy grail. i don’t ever write reviews but im hoping someone would see this and help them. i’ve been on a constant battle with cystic acne for years, experimenting with so many different skincare products, dietary changes etc but nothing seemed to have worked long term. but then i found this! i apply it at night, let dry and apply a thin layer of moisteriser on top. by the morning, spots have visibly reduced and my skin is smoother and less red. ovef the course of a few months, scarring/pigmentation has significantly reduced too. it’s a small bottle but it lasted me at least 1-2 months, using it every other night. it can cause dryness if using it regularly so build your way up to that, especially if using prescription creams like retinol. some slightly warmth/tingling when you start using azeliac acid but nothing uncomfortable! 10000/10!

Killed my red blotches in days
This azelaic acid is absolutely brilliant. I had a one centimetre red blotch on my face which did not respond to treatment such as vitamin E or tea tree oil, which I would typically try first. It seemed to be growing over a couple of weeks and another very small one appeared on my other cheek. After researching, I discovered azelaic acid and chose the Dermatica cream as, though it is not the cheapest, it comes highly recommended and is made in UK. Also it is 15% azelaic acid whilst most others seemed to be 12%. Less than a week, applying a tiny spot to each red area twice a day and the blotches are almost gone. I doubt if anyone else can even notice them at this point. I haven't noticed any difference to spots of sun-damaged brownish pigment which is also reputed to be lessened by azelaic acid but will keep going on that. BTW I suggest you may want to think carefully before buying the much cheaper azelaic acid cream made in a country I won't mention as the amount of azelaic acid in the product is not stated. At the same time, this country does not necessarily stick to required standards which we expect in UK and Europe. I know for certain because I lived there. I'm not saying all generic products are necessarily poor; it depends on the country of origin. BTW I'm female and 75 and have never had the red blotches before. I couldn't identify them for certain but definitely not rosacea. Highly recommend this azelaic acid lotion and hope it works for you too.

Advice for sensitive skin
If you have sensitive skin, don't recommend using this product. I had used this product 3 days after delivery for a test run without any problems, but then 1-2 weeks in, I've started to notice some brake outs. Luckily for me, I had done some research to help with the brake outs and stopped using this item. So make sure you know what you're buying before using it full on.

I have been using this product for a few months now. It has been a journey but it seems to work. At first it was a little strong for my skin but that was because of some other products that I was using along side of it. It can be itchy but that was because of the way I was using it. I have seen results and I like them. It works

This facial cream is actually pretty nice. It feels light and spreads easy. It does not have a greasy residue that is hard to work with. It feels hydrating and not too dewy or drying.

I've had good results with azelaic acid products in the past, and this one was no different. It's called a cream on the label, but it's pretty lightweight for a cream and it absorbs quickly. It seems to help refine the look of my skin without being as strong as something like retinol.

i have a few other products from this brand and i like it! This cream contains an acid meant to help with exfoliation. i didn't notice any irritation and the cream did help to hydrate my skin without breaking me out!

I have been using azelaic acid products for a year, ever since I discovered them. I have used a lot of different types of chemical exfoliants over the years, some work and some don't and some also do different things. I think azelaic acid is fairly gentle, it can itch slightly but that can be helped if your skin is slightly moist when putting it on. Azelaic works well for the redness I have on my nose and cheeks. I have tiny capillaries that at times can be very red, azelaic acid is the only product I have ever used that has reduced them and if I stop using it I can see a difference. I think this is a great product to try if you are interested in azelaic acid.
