My husband truly appreciated this. He's been looking for replacement from his old 1990's fluorescent light box he used to view slides with back in the day, but never actually buys anything for himself. This one ticked all his boxes; it's a super bright 10,000 LUX, LED so it doesn't get hot, has 3 different light settings, Warm, Cool, and Neutral White, dimmable, and the correct size of A2 to fit 11x17 paper stock, and the price point is on point. Haven't had any issues with the cord like some other reviewers experienced, so far so good! He's so happy, and that makes me happy. A great buy!

This thing is huge. Works great. Would have been nice if the controls were part of the pad instead of part of the cord. The pad is large enought that I just taped the controls to the pad. Works great and fantastic for the price.

Big...really big. Bright. I love the selectable color temperatures. Very easy to use. Seems reasonably solid. Stores on edge pretty easily, but I'd limit transporting it. It would have been nice if the original cardboard box had been a little sturdier for longer-term use.

Absolutely love this thing, a worthwhile investment. Plenty of brightness adjustments and three color adjustments. The controls on the cord instead of the board is not an issue at all as you typically turn it on, set the brightness and start your work. On full power it is very bright but you can also turn it down to a subtle level. I purchased a separate stand to complete the setup

Wonderful light pad I use it everytime I diamond paint I also have the a1 version and I'm thinking of getting the a3

My fingers remain crossed that I will not encounter the issues a few others seemed to have had, because I really love this pad. I have two A4 pads and one other A2, and this one improves on all the issues I had with the others. The cord is firmly attached and located on the side, which is a really key improvement over others. Those with removable cords, particularly when placed on the front, are prone to pulling and bending. My other A2 required tape and glue to keep the micro usb outlet from pulling out. This one is solidly attached, and its placement means it won’t be subject to the same wear and tear. The different color settings and brightness levels are very helpful when diamond painting since I can adjust them to what makes the tiny squares most legible. Lastly, this one is a pure white surface without the pattern of dots I’ve found stamped on the glass of my others. I wasn’t sure that this would be the case because it’s not readily apparent on the listings of others I’ve purchased, but I’m so happy I lucked out on this pick as the pattern seemed to diminish clarity. I’m pretty quick to post when things go wrong, so if you’re not seeing any updates you can assume mines still going strong.

Three things make this light box stand out: 1) The major one for me is the control is on the cord. It's not something you initially think about when looking at light boxes, but the power button was on the surface of my previous choice, and I was constantly brushing up against it and turning it off while trying to get a work flow going. Super frustrating and the main reason I decided to try a different brand. 2) You get three choices of light color - not just the standard LED, which makes it easier on your eyes. 3) Once you've selected the light color - you then get dimming or brightening choices, which is again, easier on your eyes. Pretty awesome box at a great price. So far, so good - let's hope it lasts now!

I love the size, its very big but I like that I have room for any size painting. The light gets very bright which I love. I do wish it came with some big clips to hold the painting onto the board but I just used regular clips and it has done the job. The cord is plenty long enough. If there was a way to keep my cat from trying to help me diamond paint I would be all set lol.
