Yes! I feed crappie, bream and catfish with it daily!

is this good for trout?

I have a few trout in our pond, I have hundreds of goldfish, channel cats and and a few blue gill as well. I can only see the gold fish (of which aren't gold) due to the high iron and manganese levels. They acclimated to the color of the brownish water have turned black. During the summer when it's warmer and they come to the surface also when breeding we can see them. But as for eating the Game Fish Food I toss it in and see fish hitting the surface, food disappears. Our pond is about 150' long x40 to 50' wide and ranges 5 to 18' deep.
