Our neighbor gave us these Govee lights, and the original pads were already used. These double-sided sticky pads worked perfectly and held the lights securely in place.

Although the protective covers on each side may be a little tricky to peel off, these actually do a very good job, but there are some steps you MUST do. 1) Clean the area with rubbing alcohol and then pat it dry. 2) Use the included Adhesion Promoter. Just put a dab where you want your item to stick, smear it around and then let it dry for one minute. Press your item onto where you spread the Promoter and it creates a solid bond. *** This does not work well on cold surfaces. *** I used these to secure some Govee lights to my house and it works like a charm. Highly recommend!

This tape is seriously tough — it held up a heavy tool rack and some car trim with no problem. It’s waterproof, flexible, and easy to apply. Just a heads-up: the red liner can be tricky to peel, but a knife or tweezers helps. Great all-around tape!

I took down my govee outdoor lights to replace my siding and gutters. So I needed to get them back up after the project was done and I used these. Cutting them was easy. Placing them on the lights was easy. Sticking them was easy. And they’ve been up since through 10 degree nights and snow and rain and having zero issues with them.

Used the to adhere a couple outdoor motion controlled lamps weight maybe a pound or two. The tape held for a day. Tried it multiple times and gave up.
