I tried them today and they are wonderful! They balance out the weight of the earrings and cause the earrings to fit me correctly. I was a little worried that they would be noticeable behind my ear, but they aren’t! They are flush against the ear lobe and don’t stick out more than a typical earring back. They are also adjustable so they can fit various earring post sizes. They come with clear instructions regarding wear and adjustment. Very impressed and loving that I can wear larger earrings without being in pain now! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can wear my diamond studs again! *by K***S on April 30, 2018* These actually work, just like they say they do.When one of our Frenchies was a pup, he got scared and his claw pulled the hoop earring out of my ear—closed. The rip in my earlobe did heal, but the hole left was huge. The backs of post earring just go right through. These stay on the back of my ears, and the studs sit up straight and proud.Definitely glad I tried them. They come nicely packaged in a plastic box, too, for safe keeping. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Magic Bax Works! *by S***S on February 28, 2018* I have earlobes that are slit due to younger years of wearing crazy big earrings that I had no business wearing. I have attached pictures. I have been locked into hoops and dangle earrings for the reason that every stud falls out of my ear guaranteed. Heavy earrings have been out of the question due to a fear of even further damage. Magic Bax solves all of this!Magic Bax came well packaged, was afraid theyd be swimming around in a box, but was securely packaged. Holder of backs was pretty cool too, felt backed plastic flip open container, with 4 slots, for each side of pairs.I tried this product using the heaviest earrings I had, and they worked! They lifted the earring up and held it in place, covering the slits in my ears. They stayed pretty secure after a few hours of wear, they did slip a slight bit, but that is understandable with the size of slit in my ear. It was easy as pulling up and securing to correct the issue. I am also a fan of the fact that is gold plated, as I have a metal allergy and am limited on my choices of jewelry. I have attached photos of earring secured with normal butterfly clasps and with Magic Bax.What I did not like about the Magic Bax earring is the adjustable feature. It is nearly impossible to adjust. They recommend using thin pliers, but honestly who has those around and why would I want to use hardware tools on something that im going to have to on my ears? I had to open the clasp to get onto my earrings this time around (I previously tried an earlier version that worked much better). I tried using my hands but it was incredibly too strong and too small. I ended up using, which I don't recommend, a scissor to wedge in-between the clasps to pry to slightly open. I then had to use whatever strength I had to squeeze what I could close while testing it on the earring post before putting it on my ear. It came to being a little scary when taking the Bax off, just an awkward shape to hold onto a and tight clasp to pull from while trying not to rip the earing out of your ear. Personally it should just come at a standard setting, not even bothering with an adjustment feature, because between it being too tight to put on or ends up being too loose to hold onto anything, theyre are too many things that can go wrong, just seems like a potential liability issue. Or maybe a softer metal? idk.
