Works good, quality made.
This is a good deal here. Seems to be quality made, sturdy, nothing cheap (breakable) on it. Everything is adjustable. The seat is firm but comfortable. It went together quickly. I like it! I have an adjustable desk that I use in the standing position so if I wanna hit a lick on the guitar real quick I just grab this stool .

Great Guitar stool! Money well spent!
I needed a comfortable, economical chair or stool to practice my Guitar so I shopped around and decided on this new stool on Amazon. I received it today and immediately opened the box to find a well packaged and carefully wrapped item. It required some assembly but if you read the included full color instructions you shouldn't have a problem putting it together. It comes with all the necessary hardware and tools to assemble it. The seat pad is really thick and supportive much like the more expensive stools that are available. It has great adjustability and should be able to accommodate most people. I'm 5'10" and there's plenty of adjustment either way on the seat height, backrest and for me more importantly the leg rest. I'm sitting on it as I write this review and its solid, stable, comfortable and easily movable. Also, it has a 3 year warranty so that's a comfort if there's any issue with it on down the road. If you are in the market for a great guitar stool you won't be disappointed with this one.

This could be perfect except for one thing.
OK. This chair hits all the marks except one. But let me tell you the good before the bad. PROs: Excellent construction Quality components and materials used throughout Well-thought out design and engineering. The design forces you into much, much better playing posture. Lightweight yet feels strong Very adjustable Now the CONs: The foam in the seat is so hard and uncomfortable, that it might as well have been constructed of hard molded, injected plastic. I mean, even though it looks to be a seriously thick piece of foam under very nice vinyl, that seat is so hard, I have to get up and stand after one song to let the essentials on my Arse get some blood circulation. As others in the reviews have mentioned, I can't imagine how this company hit all the right check marks so well for this chair, but missed the comfort of the seat so far off the mark. The rest of the chair is so good, I'm giving it four stars, but the missing star for the seat being so hard is a big missing star. Likewise, I'm keeping the chair and going to figure out how to put some gel cushioning on the seat to make it bearable. Perhaps the company should offer a "soft" seat version in the future.

Comfortable Musicians chair.
A well wheelchair that accomplishes its mission. It gives you a solid, comfortable seat to position your instrument as you like it. Very adjustable for height and back support and lightweight to move wherever you wish. Simple to assemble it took less than 15 minutes to have it ready to go. I would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent choice for a good price.
Comfortable stool in so many ways. The adjustable foot rest and back rest are great. The seat cushion is a bit hard for my “old” butt but so much better than the basic fold up stool! I used it for a three hour gig where I sat down about 1/2 the time. Quite pleased!

Outstanding quality
Got the seat today I have a new show starting on Friday and needed a good seat. This seat is well built safely shipped, easy to assemble, and is an awesome comfortable seat. It is comfortable adjustable in so many ways, the back rest feels sturdy and stays in place as I lean back . The footrest is the best part,so many adjustments for your foot/feet. The leg bottoms have an adjustable knob for the wobbly floors we all love. This is a GREAT value for the money. I will update as far as longevity. But this seat is well worth your hard earned money. This is not a paid review I bought this just like the rest of you. I’m a professional musician and this is the one for me! Mostly foldable for pretty easy transport could be a touch better. Enjoy!

Not comfortable for me
I really wanted to love this chair but in the end I found it uncomfortable to enjoy playing guitar in. I’m 5’6”, 165lbs and average butt size. The seat has a “lip” in the back that you sit against and it contours your butt. But this forces you to slide forward in the seat, and reduced the "contact patch" - the amount of body (butt and upper legs) to rest on the chair to spread the weight and pressure across, which in turn leads to increased pressure on the butt. Seating in such slightly forward position, forces your legs to slant down, because the seat is triangular (drum throne type), and this causes the guitar to be unstable on your leg, as it sits on the downslope. To compensate, you raise the footrest, but it ends up tucking underneath the seat, not vertically just higher. This makes the leg curl under the seat, making it further uncomfortable and still makes the leg slanted down. Maybe the size does really matter… for this chair and bigger/taller folks will find a better fit. On the good note, the materials and build quality is real good. The chair is light-weight considering the size of it, and completely removable backrest is nice for clean on-stage look. The adjustable foot pad is awesome for leveling the chair for stage use. I say it is a good product, just wasn’t the right fit for me.

Absolutely love this chair
As most guitar players, we tend to look on the house where we are more confortable and stick to it for practice. Sometimes we even move around our favorite chair just to be in the place where we want to play. This chair has become my absolute favorite for playing. 1rst. it's confortable for playing, with needs different that for sitting. I got plenty of freedom for moving as the back is clean to allow you to move (and you can remove the back if you want), and yet, I get some lumbar support if I need it (not all songs rock your world, some soothe your soul, and this chair will go with you in both), you get freedom to move your legs to tap the tempo, or use your pedals, or lean over to adjust your amp or set your mic, or any other things we do while practicing or performing, as change pages on your book or tablet for the next sheet. 2nd. it's adjustable to different playing styles. If I'm playing more fingerstyle / classic I use a more traditional posture with low seat and a high leg for support, but if doing more rhythmic guitar or using a strap to hold the guitar, I can easily adjust the seat to higher level and enjoy a more relaxed legs position. 3rd. It's lightweight and sturdy!. I will keep moving this chair around in the house to play where I want to play (living room, in the home office room, backyard, or wherever I want to be), so, his light weight is an extra plus. and is sturdy enough to be used with confidence, no shaking or trembling (considering it's adjustable, not a single piece, I feared that). So, if you are considering this product, make yourself a favor and get one, I have tried more expensive ones before, and this one easily beats them. And if you have a friend who plays guitar and you have seen him/her awkwardly trying to get confy in common mobiliary, this is a great gift he/she will appreciate.
