Sewing Machine Bulb - 240v, 15watt Bayonet Clip-On Fitting

I got this sewing machine bulb to replace one that had blown, and it fit like a glove. It was easy to pop in and lit up straight away. The light is bright but not harsh, which makes a massive difference when you’re sewing dark fabric or working on tiny details. It’s not the most exciting product, but it does its job well, and it’s good to know it’s a standard 240v, 15w fit. I bought a spare at the same time and chucked it in the drawer for when this one eventually goes — solid value and hassle-free.

Fits my Janome machine beautifully.

The bulbs arrived very promptly but unfortunately I inadvertently ordered the wrong fitting. It does fit my overlock machine. I did track down a shop that had the right bulb for my standard 1976 sewing machine only to ascertain that the light fitting had a loose wire and the original bulb had not in fact blown. Very happy with the prompt service.
