Amazing product
I heard about Jasper Cacao through a friend and wanted to try their ceremonial cacao as iv been hearing all the hype. I am not disappointed! I used hot water and 30g of chopped cacao blended. The flavour is like a bitter dark chocolate as you would expect but not as bitter as you would think for 100% pure cacao. It also has a slight citrussy, sharpness which i read is a sign of quality pure raw cacao so overall really balanced and delightful. Even though I only used water and not milk, it was still rich and creamy. I'm guessing because it's pure, full fat, and raw. Will deffo buy again. I'm going to try some of their recipes from the Instagram page. Ps great for a morning drink as it gives you loads of energy, and you literally feel nourished!x

Like a super premium raw Aero bar!
I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this thinking it would be like the other raw ceremonial Cocao that I’ve tried but it had a very different taste and texture which is quite light. Attempt to nibble on it as it is so I don’t know what it’s like in hot chocolate or anything like that. It’s not as bitter as other brands, but I don’t mind that for a change.

Best so far!
This cacao tastes very pleasant, and I have been eating it straight out of the package as well as making hot chocolate with it. The chunks are a little on the large size (my reason for dropping a star) but I can cut them up smaller without too much trouble. I have since tried another brand (Virgin Ceremonial Cacao) which tastes fine but has such stupidly huge chunks that I can hardly cut them at all, and am going to have to use a hammer to break up the bits small enough to melt properly. I am on a quest to find a ceremonial quality cacao that is supplied with sensible, smaller-sized pieces but, should I fail in my quest, I will revert to this product, which I can at least cut!

Fast delivery, authentic product… the smell 😊
The media could not be loaded. Can’t fault Jasper Cacao for their services, such great advice on different recipes, my favourite is to simply add maple syrup and sea salt - seen here on the river.Highly recommend this product and the deeper inner journey it supports you on, if you choose - or a natural daily energy lift without the come down of caffeine and sugar!!

Disappointing Ceremonial Cacao - A Bitter Letdown
I was excited to try this ceremonial cacao after ordering a 1kg batch, but unfortunately, it has been a huge disappointment. As someone who hasI was really excited to try this ceremonial cacao, but after receiving a 1kg batch, I’m incredibly disappointed. As someone who has been drinking cacao for years, I know how it should taste and feel, and this is nothing like the real thing. The flavor is unpleasant, with an overwhelming and "funny" aftertaste that lingers far too long. The consistency is also completely off. The cacao pieces don't look or smell like they should. They appear odd and when you try to cut them, they crumble into a dusty texture. This is not the smooth, rich form I expect from ceremonial cacao.Overall, I can’t recommend this to anyone looking for an authentic cacao experience. It’s a huge letdown, and I regret buying it.

Best cacao I've tried
Absolutely loved this cacao. Can really tell from the taste that’s its produced from high quality cacao trees. I’ve totally removed coffee from my diet after trying this. Provides all day energy but without the jitters from coffee. I do love the earthy flavour you only get from proper raw organic cacao but if you prefer a sweeter brew, a drop of honey is a game changer. I cannot recommend this cacao enough.

Not the best.
Not a fan…it doesn’t have the calm buzz of other cacao. I felt very wired.

Oh yes this is the one!
Oh yes this is the one! I have tried a few ceremonial cacaos and this is by far the best, comes in nice chunks so you can just chop off what you need. Flavour is a lovely bitter super dark chocolate I did add a little honey to mine as I like a bit of sweetness to balance the bitterness of the pure Cacao. Feels really nourishing after a morning cup.
