Pros:pepper spray is law enforcement strength (1.3 Mc)top is the flip-top, not the one where you slide the lever to the side (which too often gets jostled & goes off in your purse or pocket - ouch!)Cons:has tear gas (mace) which takes 20 to 60 seconds to work & dilutes the pepper spray, which is instantaneous.has ultraviolet taggant, which I've never heard of being of any value identifying a perp since the pepper spray should disable the perp enough to be caught on the spot.Aim stream for eyes AND nose & mouth! Affects both vision & breathing.

Never did have to use it on anyone but it never accidentally went off on me either so I guess there good.

I bought this for my 19 year old daughter because she walks home from work everyday. She has small hands, but she's able to grasp it just fine. She hasn't had to use it, so I can't comment much beyond it's grip. it does seem very durable. It also gives me some peace of mind this day and age. She's a smart girl. But I do like knowing she's armed with some deterrent against would be aggressors.

Good size, easy to carry discreetly. Hopefully, I'll never need to use it but like knowing I have it. Can hold in palm of your hand without being too obvious.
