Hi yes my Bichon has been so sick with allergies and other illnesses skin has been so broken out with dermatitis and I refuse to take him to a vet because I know they'll just add steroids to him and that's just masking it so I've been doing it through diet and he's not itching not licking and I just received this because this simply simply food just two days ago and he loves it he never eats dry I adopted him from a humane society when he was 11 months old and he wouldn't eat anything no kibble so this he's eating dry but I'm adding also water to it warm water because I'm also adding other ingredients I add chicken to it fresh chicken breast and then I add this on top of it and I add the other other half 43 ingredients to help him I'm just doing anything I can but I'm so thrilled that he loves his food I've been on ultimate pets natural food for a vet here in California but they were out of chicken so I was looking for the chicken and I just came across your brand and I'm going to stick with it I just put a ball down my company and he ate a try so I'm just so thrilled the chicken and turkey is what I'm going to stick with cuz that's what he's been on for the past years is chicken and it's healing his dermatitis and his hot spots and his allergies he's just a beautiful beautiful Bichon so thank you he's also my service topic emotional support dog fully registered and has been with me he is now going to be 10 years old this year and he's like Velcro so you can imagine what he means to me thank you for making such a good food

The quality of this food is excellent. For the most part it maintains the shapes but there are always some crumbs too. The food keeps well in the bags so there is always a fresh smell that appeals to my dog. And she never leaves any crumbs on the bottom of her dish.

My dogs love this food. It is pricey though.

The food is made from quality ingredients and my dog REALLY likes it and tolerates it well BUT it’s expensive AND 1/2 the bag of food arrives in pulverized condition. I have a big dog, he gets 2 cups/day and so a bag barely lasts a week. And the pulverized nuggets may make a thick gravy but it doesn’t offer any substance.

I tried the variety pack for my 4 year old Staffy. He wouldn’t touch any of the flavors. The pieces were extra dry and a strange consistency, including large pieces and shreds of unidentifiable “food”. I also noticed that all of them have a strong offensive smell. Won’t buy again, or recommend to anyone.

My boy eats Spot and Tango. Unfortunately they only have 2 kinds. So I found this and gave it a try. He refuses to keep eating the same food. Don’t blame him! We absolutely love how this gives you the option to try all of the types before purchasing a bigger bag. He LOVES every one of these except the Bison. They are all packed with the good stuff and none of the bad. My boy eats healthier than I do so he only gets the best. This food is #1 right next to what he already eats!! I use this as a topper so purchasing the 6 pack is perfect. Each meal I split 1 pack in half so he gets 2 meals out of 1. I only have to pirchase this 2-3 times a month. The rest of the month he gets other toppings like broccoli, cooked chicken, egg etc. Real cooked food. So this is a cheap healthy and sooooo yummy option that we can afford.

I purchase this for my dog for the quality of the ingredients but find it quite expensive considering how much fine chopped product is in the bottom of the bag. It's wasteful and a disservice to the customer. Also to be honest, my dog is not a full fledged fan as he really only likes the dark brown 'cubes' in the bag and not so much the lighter tan colored cubes. He will not eat it if I add the warm water, he prefers it dry, so I have to make sure he drinks adequately. I don't know how it is processed, perhaps the dark is organ meat and the lighter other meat ??? But it's a struggle to get him to eat all of it. I bypass wasting the bag bottom particles by adding it to the mixes I make as treat balls for my pup, it's too expensive to just throw away. I know it sounds like I am leaving a poor review but I am not ... the ingredients are great quality and in defense of Simple Project my dog is fussy about ALL food. I will continue to buy this brand because of it's quality ingredients. Your pup may love it ! One true negative is that the smell is awful but I assume it's because it's real minimally processed bison (= freshness ? perhaps) ... gotta be smelly right?! LOL Try a sample pack first to see which choice your dog likes best !!!
