Review: Best EDC light for mechanics - i’ve daily carried this light for a little over 2 years now and it’s seen use almost everyday. i’ve used it mainly for working under cars, night time fishing or walking the dog at night and it excels at every task. I fully charge it twice a month and it lasts me minimum of 2 weeks. the main flood light is bright and reaches pretty far. UV light is useful although i don’t use it very much in my day to day tasks. Where i think this light excels is the Laser. As an automotive technician my favorite feature is being able to toggle the laser and main flood light at the same time as i use it a lot to show customers specific areas underneath theirs cars or their engine bays where problems may occur or have already occurred. my only concern with the light is that the toggle on and off button is very easy to accidentally press. I’ve had scenarios where the light would burn holes in my pockets due to me accidentally turning the light on in my pocket when i sit down. This also in turn melted the lens of my flashlight but it doesn’t affect the performance of the light. overall good light i recommend. very sturdy. i’ve dropped it countless times and it continues to work every single time. good build quality. comfortable in pocket

Grew up reading books under the covers and that love of lights has only grown since. I bought this light specifically for doing diagnostic inspections. Anyone who's ever had to search for a teeny, tiny leak knows that light alone isn't always enough to find the source. You poor some water soluble uv dye upstream and switch on the uv and watch as your leak starts to glow. The green laser is also handy for pointing issues out to property owners too. And I love the various amounts of light that this can put out. The low setting is properly low. Perfect for not disturbing your partner or if you don't want to blind yourself. The high reaches out fairly far considering the size of this thing, which is super easy to carry. And if you're walking home alone and get spooked or you want to flag down some help on the side of the road, the double tap strobe is super handy. And let's not forget the vintage desert racing stripes! This is definitely the nicest looking light I own, without a doubt! The battery life is another pro, arguably one of the most important details to consider when you're thinking of adding a piece of kit to your edc. On medium with maybe thirty or so minutes of use, 5 days a week, I find I need to charge it maaaybe once every other week. On high that drastically reduces the runtime, naturally. And the inverse of that is also true with the lowest setting lasting maybe a month. All in all, I am so glad I took a chance on this light/laser/uv combo and would not hesitate to get another in the future

A: It seems like the Arkfeld Pro is in lockout mode. Please press and hold the center button (about 1 second) until the flashlight turns on with the moonlight or green beam and the flashlight will be unlocked.

**Q: Is the green beam on the Arkfeld Pro brighter than Arkfeld?**
A: Yes, the Arkfeld Pro is much brighter. It's a ≤5mW green beam while the regular Arkfeld has a ≤0.39mW green beam.

**Q: Can I turn on the white light and green beam on Arkfeld Pro at the same time?**
A: Yes. Besides that, you can also change the brightness level of the white light when they are working in tandem. Just press and hold the central button, and it will change from Low, Med, and High mode. (Moon mode is not included in this setting)

i’ve daily carried this light for a little over 2 years now and it’s seen use almost everyday. i’ve used it mainly for working under cars, night time fishing or walking the dog at night and it excels at every task. I fully charge it twice a month and it lasts me minimum of 2 weeks. the main flood light is bright and reaches pretty far. UV light is useful although i don’t use it very much in my day to day tasks.
