If you are familiar with Mafex figures, you should know what to expect in terms of the quality. The sculpt, paint, and articulation are all excellent. Much better than anything you'd find on cheaper mass market figures (Mafex are expensive, but you're getting what you pay for). The figure is a pretty good size. Mafex (and similar Japanese toy lines) tend to be more of a "true 1:12 scale" rather than the "heroic 1:12 scale" of most mass market American toys, and figures can sometimes end up looking a bit undersized. That isn't really a problem with Black Adam. He's a decent hunk of plastic. There's a great Dwayne Johnson likeness. Or rather, three great Dwayne Johnson likenesses: neutral, neutral but with the eyes glowing white, and a "People's Eyebrow" expression. The logo on his chest is split by the articulation, but there's not really a good way around that. The emblem is so large it pretty much has to be. It comes with a good assortment of accessories, including a bunch of lightning effects and extra hands. There are only 2 things bringing the score down from being perfect: 1) The cape sucks. It really, really, really sucks. It's so bad. I'd wanted to display this figure with the cape on, because the promo shots made it look so cool, but I can't. The hood is massive. It has a wire around the opening to shape it, but there's so much extra material and there's no way to shape it or move it out of the way, because it's soft goods. So with the hood on, there's a giant bump that almost triples the height of the head. Like he's wearing a big bulbous witch's hat or an undercover Conehead something. The front edge of the cape is also sown together in a strange way. I don't know if mine was twisted during production, but where it comes together to clasp around the neck, the front outside edge of the right side was sewn to the bottom inside edge of the left side. It looks really bad on the figure. I'm really disappointed. Soft goods at this scale are very hard to pull off well and this cape comes nowhere close. 2) The arm on the stand is pretty weak. I have a really hard time getting it to hold up the figure's weight. I have many other Mafex figures, but they're mostly Star Wars or comic-based superhero figures that are much lighter. Black Adam's a big boy, and the arm isn't quite up to the task of keeping him aloft unless you really fiddle with it and find a sweet spot. Even then, I wouldn't bet money on it holding up over time. If you're aware of those flaws going in and they don't bother you too much, and you liked the Black Adam movie, I'd say it's definitely worth the price tag.
