5 Inch Tibetan Singing Bowl Set - Hammered Bowl, Beater, Cushion for Meditation & Yoga

The sound is great to begin meditation or for centering prayer. I use it for 20 minute sessions twice a day. It can be polished if so desired but that isn't necessary. I did use a silicone pot holder under it instead of the cushion is came with. A small additional purchase. Color does not matter. Silicone will last indefinitely. You can make this bowl sing by moving the striker around the outside of the bowl after it has been struck. I kept thisbowl as it has a pleasing sound to it. I am somewhat afraid of glass bowls due to breakage. This fuflfills my need.

. I have a bunch of these, and I like to purchase them. One of my favorite things about this is it drives my wife absolutely crazy. She has no idea why we need so many singing bowls. I personally think that I need more lol. This one sounds great and looks good on the Shelf. I'm very happy with my singing ball.

This is a very nice bowl. I ended up getting two more different sizes. It took me about a day to learn how to make the ball seeing my boy Al tell you it really does calm you down. Nice vibrations as well

This singing bowl is the perfect addition to my meditation area. It sings beautifully. My boyfriend enjoys the singing bowl as well, as I randomly catch him using it. It was quite heavier than I expected, but I feel like that is the best part about it. The black and gold pillow that it came with was the perfect match for the house decor as well. It is a great size as well!!! I have no complaints at all, except that I wish I got this sooner.P.S. Delivery time was fast AF!!!

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL BOWL, A NOVEL GIFT...BUT NOT A BOWL FOR THOSE WHO USE THEM FOR SOUND HEALING. THERE ARE NO OVERTONES, JUST A HIGH BELL LIKE SOUND (C# , 1/2 TONE ABOVE MIDDLE C). THERE ARE VERY FEW NOTICEABLE BEAT FREQUENCIES.THE BOWL COULD BE USED FOR MEDITATION OR ROOM CLEARING, THAT IS, IS YOU HAVEN'T EXPERIENCED THE SOUND OF A TRUE TRADITIONAL, HAND BEATEN 7 METALS BOWL.THIS ONE APPEARS TO BE MACHINE MADE AND THEN HAMMERED, MAYBE BY ANOTHER MACHINE. THE HAMMERING LOOKS TOO PERFECT FOR HUMAN WORK AND WAS DONE FOR DECORATION, NOT FOR CREATING LAYERED TONES. LITTLE VIBRATION COMES FROM THE BOTTOM WHEN SINGING...SO USING IT FOR HEALING ON THE BODY FOR VIBRATION IS LACKINGi'M RETURNING MINE BECAUSE I DIDN'T ORDER A SINGING BOWL JUST TO HAVE SOMETHING PRETTY TO LOOK AT.

I purchased this as a gift so have not entirely unwrapped it to hear it sing. I bought a similar one, the same size at a store about a year ago for myself and paid $100.00 for it. So I was really pleased with the reasonable price and how beautiful this new one looks. Even the pillow is lovely. I'm sure my friend will be very happy with this Christmas gift.
