Best Boots I’ve Hiked in… EVER…
(After a 16 mile, 1,000Ft+ elevation change, and 7+ hour hike my feet were still comfortable and would be able to wear the boot for the rest of the day) Bought these boots because they are waterproof and we’re hopefully thin enough to hike warm weather and cold weather conditions. They were a little roomy and didn’t really have an issue with the insole but still decided to swap it out with a better one which, I couldn’t be happier that I did. They fit perfect now and don’t give me any issues when hiking in 100 degree weather nor do they give me issues in freezing rain. I’ve walked through mid calf streams and my feet stayed dry. I have stood in boot high water for long periods of time and they still kept my feet dry. I love the flat laces and the design as well. With a good pit of boots like these and a good upkeep they should last me years and years! The two photos I have are fresh after a cleaning so the leather is wet making them look darker, they are a true coyote brown when dry. Serious props to Garmont for making a boot I will buy again and comfortably wear every day.

Great cold weather boot
Functions as expected and described. I broke these in by filling them with water and then wearing them for several hours while I did house and yard work. They broke in easily. I used them for a hunting trip in upstate New York and they did very well in the mountain terrain and sub-freezing weather. Very comfortable and great traction. I did order them a half size bigger and in the wide (vice the normal size width that I normal wear in my running shoes).

Super all rounder boot.
First off the boot looks amazing, even in bigger sizes. Second the quality and fit is very accepting for everyday use. Lightweight and durable with good ankle support. Chef's kiss right there. Even good for longer hiking/climbing trips with excellent breathability.

Very nice Boots
The 4 stars is because they run narrow sizing is not accurate. I wear a 11 regular/medium/D these are not size regular they run narrow. Had to send them back for refund. really wish they fit they are very nice boots

Perfect fit!
I was a little leery ordering boots online, but I took the risk, and now I'm glad I did! I'm an Army veteran, and I can tell you that quality boots make or break a troop that's on the ground. I normally have to buy half a size up for boots and shoes, as I wear a wide, but they offered my size and it fit perfectly. These boots will easily go into bunny boots if you work in the deep arctic like I do, although they're plenty warm for any climate you're likely to come across about +50 to -50 in latitude (Basically the southern border of Canada all the way to deep south Argentina.) If you're in Europe, these boots will do fine, as the Gore-tex lining helps keep your feet dry. If you're as far north as Norway, these boots may be sufficient, but you might want some bunny boots to go over them. They were a bit rigid out of the box, but that's to be expected. I soaked the inside with water and wore them around the house for a few hours. That broke them in immediately. I was on my feet for 10 hours yesterday, and didn't give my feet a second thought. Very comfortable and very highly recommended. I do recommend buying a suede boot cleaning kit to keep them looking nice, if you're concerned with such things.

Best goretex boots I've owned
Feet don't sweat inside the goretex, probably because the boot is breathable. Very light, very durable. The tread is very intense, good for ice and snow or trails. Comfy out of the box, ordered my normal size in wide and I have in-between wide and normal feet.

Great for Cold weather situations
I bought these bc I had to go to 32 days of training at Camp Grafton in North Dakota. While I was there we had two snow storm and some weather that was in the teens not to mention freezing rain. Not open time did my feet get cold like in traditional boots and everytime it rained my boots never got wet. The rain would just bead up and roll off my boot. These boots are support comfortable and give great ankle support. My course was 7 days a week for 32 days so I wore these constantly and had not one issue. Take it from an Engineer soldier these are great boots and the price was surprising. If you have to buy military boots you know how expensive a good pair of boots can be!

Narrow, even in the wide.
I don't wear a wide boot in any other combat boot. Never have. But, these are NARROW. It takes narrow to another level. I bought a regular and a wide...they feel the same.

For the premium price I paid, I was expecting a much better product. The finish of the boots I received was terrible to say the least. There were gaps between the seams (the boots won't be waterproof), stitching are weak, the "vibram" sole is very soft and will most likely rip or break off when hiking on rocky terrain. I find such defect and poor craftmanship unacceptable, and I don’t understand how these shoes passed quality control. I'm very disappointed with these boots, and wish I had looked elsewhere. I will most likely go with Salomon for my next pair.

I ordered these based on the reputation of the brand and I'm not disappointed. Great product and high quality as expected. A couple of notes that I hope can help others considering these:. 1. I wear a 9 regular in most of my boots and shoes. I ordered the 9 Wide in these based on the other reviews. I was worried they'd be too small but I didn't want too large for hiking... They fit perfectly. Definitely a snug fit, and with a good quality hiking sock. If you like a looser fit or want to wear thicker socks, I'd say you have to go up a size. They are a narrow boot, so for my I definitely needed the wide and recommend it to most people. I don't have a "wide" foot per se, but I definitely need the wide. 2. Ordering from Canada, Amazon pre-arranges the duties and charges them up front, which is great. In my case, they ended up refunding me almost $50 that they charged on duties, so the actual duty was around $20. So if you're ordering from Canada, consider that possibility. They're not cheap boots, but I think they're going to last and are definitely high quality. Thanks Amazon and Thanks Garmont!

I had been looking for a vortex coyote Brown boot I'm the style of a JPB for ages and was about to give up the hunt until I found these. Familiar with the Harmony brand I bought them straight away. They are an excellent file, practically requiring no break in. They are a very snug boot to get your foot into and can be a bit of a fight, but once in you have outstanding ankle support. I bought these as a light weight wear to compliment my Meindle boots for really heavy going mud slugging.

These are by far the comfiest things I have ever put on my feet. and they are tactical boots that do not rub, have good room, high ankle so provide support but flexible enough to think you're not in a boot, rugged and flexi-soled. Rucking is a cinch. I wear these everywhere I can because they are so goddam good. I mean PMCs wear them by choice so they must be good. Please note that regardless of what the website says about sizing you will need a size up. Read UK size as US. I ordered a 9.5 but when it arrived my feet were touching the end - sent back and sized up to 10.5. perfect now Uk10.5 but uk 9.5 (typically I take 8.5-9) (the problem is if they read this they might adjust it so you may end up sizing too big...anyway they have a fantastic returns option). Takes a a couple of weeks for delivery but they are travelling. No great at keeping water out in boggy conditions - they're not meant to - you're meant to jump in and let the water drain out. But I have also ordered the GTX ones which have a better wet and cold rating, minus some flex. 100% recommend
