Love this for my pup! On her second one after she chewed up the last ( it took her probably 3-4 months and some very hard chewing to do it). Her second one I have monitored more, taking it away whenever she is done eith the treat and it has held up way longer! Shes a tough cheer so she would naw on it once she was done. The back does get hard to screw on from time to time, but if you keep your dog from chewing on it and keep it clean it works like a charm! Loved these for crate training my puppy and just to keep her busy from time to time. Definitely recommend getting the silicone mold as well so you can make your own at home!

It is heavy and solid. Maybe good for a chewer, but for aggressive chewers, not so much. My dog had teeth marks and pieces of it off in under 5 minutes. But to be fair he is a super strong chewer. He absolutely loves the treats that go inside. I would recommend.

Update: the seller reached out to ME and offered me a full refund. While the item may not have held up to my two power chewers the customer service was fantastic. Changing to 3 starts bc the cust service was impressive. the idea is great with a screw on top making it easy to fill. However this is NOT for aggressive chewers. I have a rescue who has NOTchewed up any toys, kongs etc but destroyed the top piece of this in less than a few hours, chunks missing. So I gave to my other pit- just the bottom section with some PB spread into (making it similar to the KONG tire) I looked down an hour later an it was broken into about 20 1-2 inch pieces all over the floor, . Too bad bc I already ordered the silicone tray to make the frozen treats for this. Get the Kong extreme (black) tire- ive had one for months and no chips taken out.

After using olive oil just to close and open it, it finally will not open anymore and is stuck closed. I’ve used pliers and everything.. only two washes in the dishwasher in less than a month of use, not to mention this is supposed to be for power chewers. My dog almost died swallowing pieces of rubber from the original green model, so I bought the black one made for extra strong chewers. (My dog is a mix of like 5 breeds and 6 months old) it still doesn’t last and I have to watch her use it (good thing I did.. the picture is after looking away for 2 minutes) or she could again swallow a piece of rubber. Giving two stars because it worked for a few runs. Not worth $20.

Our dog is a 20 pound Morkie and one of our his favorite treats is the frozen treat that is placed inside of this ball. Our dog is a chewer and he will chew any toy to destruction if given the opportunity, yet the WOOF Power Chewer is holding up against his ability as a chewer and giving him a run for his money. We have had this for a few weeks now and our dog has not made a dent in it. It is about the same weight and size as other brands and is very durable. Unlike the other brand, this one is very easy to open and close making it easy to insert the treat and to clean. So far, our dog is able to get his treat from it without have to chew it to pieces. It may be a bit more expensive than the other brand, but the quality of this product makes it a great value for the money and will outlast the other brand. Keep in mind that this product is designed for a 10 - 25 pound dog, so if your dog is larger than that you may want to consider a product designed for a larger dog. I highly recommend this product.

Keeps a couple of my high energy dogs busy for about 20 minutes. It’s awesome and they have not been able to chew through it yet. We’ve probably had them a month and they’ve gotten them about two times a week. There is conversation about them being difficult to open. I found two things that work very successfully, running it under hot water and then I can open it up after the dogs done with it. I also pretreat the top of it the lid with coconut oil, which makes it close easier and open easier. I still would buy them again. I’ll probably get more opening and closing the lid is a small thing to have to deal with to get that kind of dog satisfaction.

I highly recommend these for aggressive chewers. They're super durable, my dogs love them, and the customer service has been excellent. For context, we've been using these for several months now. We have three dogs, and one of them, Teddy, is a very aggressive chewer. That means anything I buy for any of the three dogs has to be super durable, or Teddy will destroy it. I bought all three dogs the version of this toy for aggressive chewers. The toys are very durable and they do have some slight bite marks but we're months in now and they're still in great shape. The dogs also love them. They love the different flavors, and it does take a while for them to eat them. Teddy's will take at least an hour. I contacted the company (through amazon) and they quickly responded with answers to my questions and addressed my concerns. I've even started giving these away as gifts :)

Nice toy, easy to use and clean. My dogs (30lbs and 60lbs) have lots of fun with it. However, I have 2 issues with this toy. First is the durability. On the fourth use, my dogs has managed to take a chuck of the rubber off of the handle part. Second is the holes around the portion where they lick to get the food. It's either too big or poorly shaped. They're lower jaw/tooth gets stuck in the hole. They always manage to pull themselves out, but I'm concerned they'll hurt themselves or pull out a tooth. I hope this toy gets a redesign someday. I like the concept of it.
