Have used this for several months and have ballanced several car tires of different sizes. For the price it's great. Downside is it can be very difficult to calibrate (likes to over or under rage the required weight by about 1/4oz or get the phase of weight about 5 - 10 degrees out of zero) and can lose its calibration after a few sets of tires. Besides that "quirk" it has a ton of settings to balance just about every kind of wheel out there. It does better on smaller wheels (16-18 inch) as 20"+ seem to have some residual wobble at 75mph+.

OPT button does not function at all, and technicians have no solution to make it work. If the wheel is balanced and then rotated on the shaft it will show that it is not balanced. Cannot repeat balance of wheel.

Been using both tire machine and balancer for 9 months now and been working flawlessly. They arrived in a very secured wood box. Very good communication with the seller. Overall I'm very Satisfied!!!

Repeatability is something of an issue... especially when the tire is balanced, moved on the spindle, and balanced again. There is some inconsistency with both the weight and the position. I did buy from another vendor a shallow-angle centering cone, and this seemed to reduce the problem. Now: I had gotten a new set of Cooper tires for a late-model Jetta, and initially I could not get them to run smoothly at 60+ mph. But then again, neither could 2 tire shops I took them too (I checked the wheels for runout, and they were fine). So I went at it with this balancer again, using the "fine" measuring mode to get it as close as I possibly could to perfect balance, and while the juddering is still there it is not bad enough to be a real issue. So by carefully using this machine I was able to do a better job than 2 shops with their several-thousand dollar Hunters... so I'm not complaining. Incidentally: the other cars I've used this balancer for exhibited no such problems, so either my Jetta is hyper-sensitive the slightest imbalance, or the Cooper tires are simply a bit "off", and no amount of balancing will make them real smooth.
