REMOVE PROTECTIVE FILM
It's works great and the bulb has lasted quite awhile. It's easy to remove the bulb. Just make sure you remove the plastic on the inside of the reflector because I didn't notice it and it welded itself to the inside and completely fell apart but that's my fault. It's a great light.

It works for what we needed.
I want to give this a 5 start review but I had to remove one because the bulb is really finicky. You have to turn it just right to the the bulb to come on and the slightest tap will make it shut off. Otherwise it's really nice and just what we needed. I love being able to mount it to the top of our bearded dragons cage. I did have to use wire cutters to cut a hole in the top of the screen in order to be able to mount it though.

Get it!
We bought this about 2 years ago and it’s done great! The light is still going and keeps the 4x2x2 enclosure well lit and does great or a snake!

Not reliable
Purchased this light 10 months ago. During that time it worked fine but every now and then it wouldn't come on unless we jiggled the bulb, wiggled the cord etc. Now, 10 months later it is not working at all. I call b.s. on under a year's worth of intermittent service.

It actually provides UV!!
I have bought and returned way too many lights to count. This light worked perfectly and provides the correct uv for my turtle

Just check well after opening for damage
Easy to set up cheap and affordable well made hade the fasteners for the chain to hang up well worth the buy.
