When mounting , must hit wall studs , ( especially the bottom rack ) . I cut a 6" wide board and mounted it to the studs in the wall first , then attached the the ' steel rails ' to the boards ( one board for top rail & one for bottom rail ) . * My biggest 'GRIPE ' is , there's ' no contact information for the manufacturer ' (JBBtool ) and I was shorted 2 steel rails . Amazon can't send replacement parts , haven't heard from the ' seller ' ??? Amazon says I can return the whole thing , but 'a return ' isn't what I need here !! I want , and need the 2 rails I was shorted ... otherwise , I would have to take the whole thing down , box it back up , & then take it to a return spot ... get my credit , then reorder and re-mount !! Makes NO SENSE to me !!! *** since writing the initial review , I did hear from the seller AND they said they will make things right ...we'll see ... I edited this review keeping my word ... the product itself seems to be good & does the job !

- It’s not easy finding a simple, inexpensive wall mounted gun rack. Looked many places and came back to Amazon for these. Quality brackets and plates. I have installed three of these sets in the past week. -Be aware each plate- four per kit- requires eight anchors with screws that are included. That’s a whopping 32 new anchors per kit- a fair amount of drilling. -My own solution was to order specialized pivot drywall anchors from Amazon that are rated at 135 lbs per unit. Installed four per plate, or 16 per kit total. Otherwise I would have been drilling almost 100 holes for the included anchors. Ouch. Extra cost, but less work and very secure. -Keep in mind there is no means included to secure and lock the firearms once they are stored. My solution was to order a long cable lock from Amazon and run through the trigger of each rifle. By no means theft proof, but I’m in a relatively rural area. Otherwise, purchase a safe. -If you enjoy seeing your rifles on display as much as I do, give these kits serious consideration.

Worked great for me. I mounted it on a 2x6 board and then to the wall. Very sturdy.

Fits perfectly behind the door for easy access and concealment, well made and easy to install.

Sturdy system for storing all guns. Only improvement might be to make them a little more narrow so you can store more guns. Easy to set up and use.

I bought several of these and they all were made with really good quality. For the money, I would challenge you to find a better deal.

Solid parts, easy to assemble and install on the wall. No specific instructions included but not a problem. Holds 4 long guns easily. Recommended.

Great firearms racks, very durable, well made. I purchase rack for my fireram safe, and installed inside with some small modifications, i added half inche wide metal on the back of the safe to be able to tightened with screews of my choice.. Scans are attached. racks are a bit to pricey sins i both before few from another seller for 75$, but now it's hard to find them. Scans are attached from my project.

Very good value. each bracket has space for 4 guns. comes with 4 plates so it can fit 16 holders. The holders are well designed to hold any long firearms. Well designed and made.
