Great Boba Fett Costume
I'm 5' 6" 135 lbs and it fit slightly loose over jeans and a shirt. The belt was too big for me, but I added some velcro to easily fix that. It was easy to put on and wear while walking around. Love it !

Looks good for the price
I read every review on here before I bought the costume. Most were not that favorable, even those for the $700 costume were less favorable than this, so I gave it a go. My first impression is that for the money, its a good buy. I have attached my first photo trying on the costume, along with a Halloween night photo after some minor changes......To let everyone know, I am just under 6 feet tall, and 185lbs. I ordered the standard size. The sizing is ok for my height. You do get a wedgie as others have described. I think the Xlarge would be way to big.I will start by saying this, the helmet was not as "flat" or "deformed" as described. It was packed on its own packaging within the costumes bag, and seems to have the shape to it that was intended. As others have stated, it is 2 peice, attached via velcro. It looks good when put together. The velcro attachement isn't the best, but it functions. Aside from the smell (this thing smells like it was painted with nail polish), the biggest problem is that others can see into the mask. Your nose and face is quite noticeable through the visor. I plan on blacking out that area somehow...I haven't gotten that far yet.The jumpsuit is not as cheap or thin as other reviews have stated. Not sure what they are expecting for a $40+ halloween costume. The chest armor and cod foam peices are pretty good. Not as "cheap" or easy to rip as others have mentioned. I would like to see a bit more of a turtle neck on it...you will have some neck showing. The knee armor doesn't lay as it should. Not sure how I will remedy this... I do think some safety pinning will be required. To me this is an enexpensive costume meant for a night or two, so i can deal with things like this. Same with the shoulder armor. The back of the costume closes with a small bit of velcro at neck level. This does create a small gape below the neck area. If you had a jetpack, it would prob not be noticed. Again a safety pin will take care of this. The belt is a little bit large for my waiste, as it attaches with velcro. I will add addtional velcro to it to get it a bit more snug. The "boots" are foam shoe covers that would attach around the bottom of your feet with velcro. I guess they are meant to cover your footgear. The "boots" are not large enough for my shoe size to cover my shoes. I will probably end up cutting the "boots" off the costume as they are not going to function. To sum all this rambling up, if you plan on wearing this a night or two, and dont expect a perfect costumer for $40something, then don't hestitate on getting the costume.

Much better than reviews led me to expect
After reading the reviews I was reluctant to order this because of the price, but my (adult-sized) son wanted to be Boba Fett and the other, cheaper available options looked so terrible. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the costume. I don't know whether earlier reviewers received a completely different product, and/or whether it used to be packaged differently. We bought the one that was Prime, direct from Rubies. The mask arrived in a sturdy package, not crushed at all. It has some foam cushions on the upper inside to help with positioning. It does hit the front of your nose when you have it on, if you have a larger head. You could probably trim the inside cushions for a better fit if needed. The foam pieces attached to the costume, and the separate belt, were all in good shape, bright and well-defined and gave the costume an overall solid appearance. The costume material itself is the standard polyester with velcro holding it closed in the back and you shouldn't expect anything different from any costume of this style. Yes, the center part of the mask is clear. My son prefers this so that he can see better. You could easily put black tape or something on the inside to darken the part over the mouth and nose. If you are very into costumes and cosplay and expect something amazing like comic con-goers might wear, you will be disappointed. You can't get something like that for $50. If you're just looking for a decent halloween costume, this does quite well and will probably be kept and worn by my son for years. He was thrilled. The standard size would fit most average (or even a little above average) weight adults shorter than about 5'7" or 8", beyond that I'd go extra large.

Flimsy but Fun
I got my Boba Fett halloween costume for '08 halloween. I expected what I saw in the image, but instead you get a REAL flimsy costume. I am around 5'7" and the suit was loose. All the parts on the suit can be torn off with force quite easily. The yellow shoulder pads and knee pads are not sewed on well at all, especially the knee pads. The chest plates won't line up to your chest unless you are the right height. The "rocket launchers" on your arms are real crappy. Can be torn really easily. The best part about this suit is the helmet. It's real legit. It makes the costume. Without it, you have a REAL crappy costume.Because the helmet is so good, I would recommend it. It's really fun, and I don't think it's too expensive.

looks nothing like the picture.
Ordered the standard size and it was way too big. I think it might have fit a 300lb person. The pieces that were attached to it weren't put on well. by that i mean that if you wore it nothing would be in the right place. It looks absolutely nothing like the picture. Absolutely nothing. Not very good quality control. Another issue I had was the helmet arrived with a big chunk taken out of the back. I did not find the missing piece in the box or packaging so i know it had to have left the facility that way. I contacted the seller with pictures and was told because it was seasonal it could not be returned for a refund. There was also some sticky stuff on the belt and crotch area. No idea what that's about.

Very disappointing!
Really poor quality. The cheap foam(armor plates) bend real easily and look cheap and fake. It fastens in the back with a tiny square of velcro that does not hold. I had to go buy safety pins to hold it closed. The mask is the worst! Two seperate, cheap pieces of plastic that is held together with small patches of velcro that does not hold the mask together very well, not to mention it arrived flattened. Really not worth what they charge for the costume.
