This is perfect for my Surface Go 3. The pocket is good for extra tools or papers and zips completely which keeps things secure in my bag.

It wasn’t 12.4”, too big for my 12,4” laptop!

There Isn't many cases for a 12.4" tablet so I settled on this one. There is no shock protection and the surface absorbs liquid like a sponge. The padding is too giving and thin to protect it from any sharp or heavy objects pressed on it. I would say this case is mainly for scratch and dust protection. The zippers having become stuck so far, so they aren't the worst and it also has zipper pouch on the sice to hold any accessories.

This sleeve is the perfect size for my 13.3 inch Dell laptop. The zipper opens easily, and the padding is thick enough to protect the laptop from everything else in my backpack or suitcase. It's not thin fabric. It's definitely foam. One quirk is that the zipper for the side pouch is sunk down into the pouch about an inch, so you have to fumble around a bit to grasp and pull it. But, the pouch is big enough to hold a mouse and some pens or a phone. Overall, I'm very happy with this.

This is not a heavy duty protective case, is more to protect from scratching. While in your back pack. Is exactly what I was looking for as it does not add bulk but protects from scratching.
