Voswitch Overhead 8-Switch Pod/Panel with Control and Source Box Blue Backlight Compatible with Jeep Wrangler JK JKU 2007-2018

Great build quality. Easy Peasy install with quality master harness included, zip ties, plate covers... all included. BE CAREFUL as each circuit has a 30 amp fuse. If you are running any device that requires LESS than a 30 amp fuse... either replace inside the POD or add a smaller fuse inline to the device. Also eventually I will replace the 100amp fuse with a 100 amp reset breaker. Easy to reset and turn off electric to the POD and work on electrical accessories as opposed to unbolting an in-line fuse holder perhaps in the middle of nowhere... worse yet not having a working backup 100 amp fuse. But then lets face it... if you blow a 100 amp fuse or breaker ... you either have a serious problem are are doing something very very wrong. A few good You Tube videos for install and mods to convert the unit to ignition only. search for Voswitch 8 by Bubba's Garage... just fast forward thru all the BS chit chat that is of zero value and watch the 3 mins of relevant video. If you are going to install a POD ... might as well get a 8 switch with room to grow as opposed to having to trash your 4 or 6 switch unit and replace. Also... great features are 1) dimmer w/ memory and 2) low voltage turn off @ 11 volt threshold. Other units have Voltage meter. You do not need one unless you have to manually monitor your alternator or battery's voltage output to avoid failures. This unit shuts down under 11 volts... so no need to waste space on some big large bright disk looking volt meter. Unit mounts solid as a rock with the supplied clamp for the footman loop. Wish all my Jeep purchases were of the same quality/value.

I have had another switch panel for my jeep in the past. But it only had 6 switches and was not designed very well. The voswitch was very easy to install it only took two bolts on the edge of the frame to mount the relay box under the hood. The cables to run to the battery for hot and ground were very sturdy and quite ling to reach the battery. The switch panel and switches that came with the kit were very sturdy and easy to install. I really like the fact that it has a master skill switch. So I can just leave certain switches engaged and turn off the whole switch panel then when I get back in my jeep I can turn the panel back on and my switches turn right back on. The install process took maybe an hour. Mainly making sure i knew what light was going to what switch an determining which switch I wanted to represent that light. I would highly recommend this panel to anyone. Being able to get a already made relay box and switch panel with 15 custom switches is well worth the price.

2014 JK Unlimited Sport (Instagram: @thosesexyassjeeps) Took a bit of a flyer ordering this aux switch bundle as I was not familiar with Voswitch. I really liked that there are 8 circuits/switches and that with the control unit located under the hood that you do not have to re-open dash panels to wire in new components. Installation was pretty simple and the single control wire was easy to route at the top of the windshield and down the driver side A-Pilar. Routing through the firewall was easy as the jeep is the automatic, our other jeep is a manual (and a couple years older) and in order to run the wire cleaning I ended up cuttings and then soldering the control wire. Other than that, the unit fits great and the buttons seem solid, the switch housing and control unit are quality made and look like they will last. Can't wait to add components!

This product is really nice and easy to install, start to finish about two hours. Instructions are easy to follow and it just worked, for awhile. Today I noticed that I could not turn on the switch pod. Thankfully I was at home and not on the trail. The description states 8 gauge power leads soldered and crimped. Not the case for me. I opened the hood and the red power lead had come completely loose from the circuit board connection inside the control box. I was able to recrimp the wire and verify that was the issue. Also noticed that the black lead was also loose. I will have to redo the power leads before I trust this on the trail. Other than that, I like the product.

The included instructions and parts made the install fairly straightforward. The unit is well made and has not demonstrated any issues after the first month of use. It is a good alternative to the Bantam SPOD system, which is significantly more expensive. However, this unit does not have a lot of the advanced features that the SPOD has.

Excellent quality and easy to install. Everything fit perfectly and went together with ease. Took about an hour to install and everything works perfectly! Well worth the money over running multiple wires into the cabin. Great quality only wish there was a gasket on the fuse panel

Absolutely love this product but manual transmission drivers beware-finding a spot to go through the firewall to run the wiring is a NIGHTMARE!!! As well it says to not use with a winch yet they provide a winch switch??? Once you have the wiring figured out it’s a great install. Watch YouTube videos of the install. Great product and absolutely love it!!!!

Love this, had for a few days now and very impressed. Installation was super straight forward and already running some Hella rooftop lights to the #1 switch. Only thing was I went out and bought some weather stripping to seal the top of the relay box. I am looking forward to how simple this kit will make future installations. Also a big fan of the low voltage shut off if you happen to leave any power sources on accidentally. Great YouTube videos to assist in installation too. Would've loved a sticker or two to have been included.
