I was looking for a digital mini scope to look at coins and display on my iPad and iPhone. This is an excellent digital scope that is Wi-Fi compatible with my Apple products. I have used it a great deal and works flawlessly for viewing coin details. The only drawback for this device is I can’t take a pic of the whole coin with high resolution. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase. Nice inexpensive and easy to use digital microscope. I use this for science outreach, but I suspect that this could easily be integrated into a wide variety of educator, science, or environmental uses. I could even see this being a useful tool for a mechanic to get a close-up view of areas and parts that can't be easily accessed with disassembly or expensive specialized tools. The ability to take microphotographs using this is fantastic.

As title suggests, when you're panning the microscope up/down, adjusting the focus, the picture does not shake. Neither when you've set it on a table and start working on specimens or PCB boards. The 2 gooseneck LEDS are perfect for getting off-angle light, however when I got mine, 1 side didn't want to turn on several times. All aluminum construction and anti slip feet are all very well put together. Hard cover case is magnificent added bonus; it's a bit too large (the product takes up maybe 20% of the volume, I guess if all assembled, it may take up 60% of the space). Negatives: The reason I'm returning is the microscope I like most does not fit the rigid circlular holder (max 1 3/8"). The thinner mic that I tested, which fits, does not produce a nice enough image so I am not keeping it. I wish there was an on/off switch. If there was I didn't see it, I simply had to plug and unplug the device to operate the lights. Last annoyance is that the top of the platform stands .75" off the table/ground, so when working with large pcb board, it's very hard to arrange the board flat.

Perfect, works exactly as advertised!

It doesn't function. It won't connect to Wi-Fi or internet. In the connections menu it shows that it's paired, but there's no internet is available. The instructions are unclear, and seems like the manufacturer has left a step out of the process. The app is not for operating the camera, but only for operating the internet connection - there is no app for the actual camera. It's very confusing, and does not function at all. I'm very disappointed with my purchase, I wish that I didn't have it. I didn't try it within the 30 days of purchasing it, a total waste of money.

this thing takes excellent pictures

Got this for one of the kids who's into nature. Liked the fact that it's easy to use, portable, and works with the computer or phone. It's advertised at 1000x but in reality it's maybe 50x - 100x. It's not super clear. The adjustment isn't very smooth, stability of the base is fine once set. The quality isn't high, but at around $30 I didn't expect that, so its a good value for the money and fun for the kid. All that aside, at the price and for what it is it's a decent value. Note: I purchased a different brand of one of these for another kid and it was virtually the same, just branded differently. You'll have to make a jump in cost to get better quality.

This is a really great stand for a digital microscope I’d purchased separately. Much steadier and with a much greater range than the gooseneck stand that the microscope came with, making it much easier to focus and capture far more detailed images. The lights are a really useful addition and combined with the sharper focus enables really sharp images of the smallest subjects. I was a bit disappointed with the microscope when I first got it, as the flimsy stand it can with made getting sharp images almost impossible with most images being dull and blurry. This stand has turned the microscope into a semi-professional bit of kit. Having previously worked in a biology lab I am very impressed with this for a budget home set up. My son loves looking at small bugs and critters under it.

Nie czuć, że jest to produkt "premium". Nic się nie rozlatuje, ale jest ultra lekki. Bezproblemowe łączenie z aplikacją po wi-fi. Czas na baterii ok 4h czyli więcej niż reszta typowych bezprzewodowych z alie itd... Co do ceny to mogłoby to kosztować o te 50zł mniej, a najlepiej 100zł. Odejmuję jedną gwiazdkę, za brak standardu USB-C. Można znaleźć je w tańszych modelach, ale już bez obrazu 4K. Powiększenie obrazu jest najlepsze na 1x bo przy 2x na najlepszej ostrości - obiekt nie jest jakoś super wyraźny. Jeśli ktoś szuka w miarę taniego mikroskopu z obrazek 4k, to na ten moment, w tym przedziale cenowym - nie ma lepszego wyboru.

Incredibly definition for it price. It has wi-fi connectivity as well as wired connectivity (tested on a chromebook) PROS: - price - ability to focus with a focus ring - wired and wi-fi - Battery operated and wire-power - great for hobbyist but lacks enough zoom to have good sharpness on the digital zoom - save pictures and videos with app (tested on android phone with wi-fi) - simplistic app - ease of connection with wi-fi app Limited lag with app - adjustable LED illumination - exposure auto-adjustment CONS: - USB micro (not USB C!) - Cheap plastics - Flimsy stand that wobbles (I recommend the purchase of another stand that has a geared adjustable height knob.) - Cheap knob for LED brightness adjustable - LED causes bright reflections on shiny objects (not COB LED lights). - some grain when under exposed CONCLUSION: A great system for stamp collectors, diy soldering, and general surface examination at high magnification. You will be surprised and what a pimple looks like from that close. I wish they would have used better plastics, a COB ring light (to avoid surface reflections, but you can use an external light source to solve this issue) AND provide a better stand. The stand wobbles wildly. Although the stand is adjustable, it's difficult to adjust and moves just slightly enough to go out of focus. The video and photo capture (with chromebook and Android) is great and the Android app is simple and intuitive. The battery durability was not tested, but works with wired power. It looks and feels gimmicky, but it does the job!

Very pleased with the microscope. I'm not sure whether the magnification is as discribed but it's more than sufficient for my needs and the images are remarkably clear when looking at knife edge or detailed image of a ball point on a pen. I recommend it for someone wanting a clear and defined image of micro objects.
