Not sure how thick your resins are, but if anything like thick viscous resinous materials like benzoin, or semi-solid essential oils, I'd say no. The materials have to be heated to liquid for the pipettes to work.

How long are they by inches?

Could these be used to water plants so you can get the water closer to the roots? Are they too soft to insert in soil?

Unless the soil your plant is in is really hard these should work fine. They are pliable but not flimsy so they can't penetrate soft soil.

I got these to use with my hobby paints. For the acrylic paints and thinners/reducers they work well and last well. For the lacquer paints and thinners/reducers they seem to not last as long with the join seam letting go. For the price they work well, just wish they held up to the 'hotter' paints and thinners/reducers.
