Quality product that I would definitely buy again!
I travel extensively and my MySmile has gone on every journey with me for 3-1/2 years now! I think it is wonderful! It is still as good as new. It charges quickly, has equal the water stream strength as a countertop Waterpik, and I love that the digital display shows how much charge is left (among other details). My Waterpik recently quit working and I have been using the MySmile as my everyday water flosser. I am very impressed by the fact that it is still going strong with the amount of use. The only thing that some may find to be a negative is that it is a little bulky because of the size of the water tank. With that being said, it needs to be bulky to hold enough water to thoroughly water floss your teeth! For it to last through 3-1/2 years of frequent use and still work as well as it did the day I bought it says a lot about the quality of the product.

Very Satisfied with the MY Smile water flosser
I absolutely love my new MY Smile water flosser. On the advice of a dental hygienist I purchased a different brand this past July and within 5 months several areas of plastic on the device had broken off. Recently I spoke to another hygienist, who mentioned that one of her colleagues was pleased with their My Smile flosser. I really like the fact that you can fill the water container by unscrewing the base, no need to worry about a small plastic opener that can easily break off. Also, the digital readout is very helpful. I’m also impressed with UV feature that sterilizes the unit after each use. I am very pleased with how well the flosser works and also that you can choose between several different pressure modes. My only complaint is that the instruction booklet is a little difficult to understand. But, I contacted the company and they responded within a few hours and will be sending me more detailed instructions. I am very satisfied with this product and happy to have this water flosser added to my oral care.

Still advise a dental visit for maximum results (every 3- 6 months)
I have been told by my dentist I have a small mouth, not a lot of space between my teeth. This device, along with "Davids Hydroxi Fluoride Free Nano Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste", and a soft bristled toothbrush helped me recover from a dental pain nightmare, which required 2 visits to the dentist and 1 root canal to handle cavities in hard-to-reach places. Temporarily using it along with oral Chlorhexidine in the water well (i.e. long-term everyday Chlorhexidine use is not advised), significantly improved my gum health as I wasn't dedicated enough to repeatedly fight with strings of floss. Yes, I know some people do just fine....I wasn't one of them. This device also helped me locate cavities early and keep them clean. Bottom line, it has helped and continues to help me stop soft plaque buildup in tight spaces, and has reduced my dentist's need to scrape plaque off with specialist tools. Spent a total of 10 minutes in the chair, walked away with a thumbs up and "good job". A single charge for this device lasts over a week, and that was with 3 to 4 times a day use during my recovery phase. The only thing I would have done differently if I had a do over of the early days, was to not stop and start the device. Best practice: - Fill the water well with distilled water if you have it (i.e., less chance of bacteria), - Set the water pressure to what's comfortable, this model facilitates this without water flowing. - Do bottom row of teeth on both outside and inside where your tongue sits, repeat for top row. - Spit out the excess water that fills your mouth and don't turn it off until all the water is used up. - On another day alternate and use the attachment for cleaning your gumline. - Whether soaking or brushing your teeth, leave between 3-4 minutes for just holding any liquid in your mouth. The good chemicals need time to bond with your teeth and kill the bacteria. I don't have any leakage issues. The battery life is good. P.S. There is a proper way to use a toothbrush so you are actually moving plaque and not just wiping your teeth. Fortunately, your dental office and YouTube has many dentists who post on how it should be done.

Nice....
i love this thing. its got good pressure, many heads to choose from, seems well built, decent price. like with any handheld the water goes quick, but the design is perfect for a quick refill/reset. I also love the design because it helps me feel safer in the sense that the water reservoir has a wide mouth and no hidden nooks for mold growth or anything. plus the self cleaning also helps with that peace of mind. the button placement can be a little wonky at times (I accidently hit it a few times when i first got it). When you get used to it though its easy breezy. And its comfortable to hold and maneuver. The sleekness of the design makes me happy i got it and the ease in the design makes me look forward to using it. if you dont mind the refill aspect, I highly recommend.

Poor quality control
Water flossing nozzles wouldn't stay seated right from the get-go. The catch-release button depessed as the nozzle was fitted, but never rebounded to its original height which meant the seating mechanism was faulty. Unfortunately, I didn't try it out before I went on my trip so by the time I discovered the unit didn't function properly it was too late to return it. Aside from the faulty seat, the product apprears to be well-made and easy to use. The water jet is about as strong as the Water Pik I use at home. I might consider giving it another try when I return home and have the option of sending it back to Amazon if the nozzle-seating problem manifests itself once again. I'll give it 3-stars for now for build quality and ease of use.

Great! Lasted much longer than WaterPik
For my money, this beats WaterPik. I owned a countertop WP which got black mold despite efforts to keep it clean. It's just impossible to dry out the interior tubing. I tried a handheld WP device which died within a couple months of use. I purchased this one because of the UV light to keep out mold and the cheaper price point, and so far it has worked extremely well. The gentlest setting is perfect for me (it has quite a few settings). The charge lasts a VERY long time. Current charge is still at 89 percent after weeks of daily use. I took one star off because the on/off button is in a bad spot. It's right at the skinniest part of device which is where your hand naturally wants to hold for usage. (especially if you have small hands, like me). Many times I have accidentally hit that button and squirted myself in the face or squirted it across the room. It's the worst place for that button! If they had put it anywhere else, it would a five star, hands downs.
