This will be my go-to electronics wiring for electric guitar builds, it's super strong, the cloth pulls back and pushes forward beautifully, withstands heat, holds its form and looks fantastic. Impeccable continuity, super clean solder joints, top quality sound. Top quality wiring shouldn't be complicated or expensive; this stuff exceeds expectations.

Works great. The best strength with this type of wire is that the cloth is super easy to remove and pull back. No problems with having a weak wire connection either. It’s got several wounds and is a thicker wire comparatively to stock for guitar soldering compared to stock wires, but I had no issues fitting into tight spots. Another plus is that if you are soldering, these wires are already twisted pretty tight so it makes it super easy to tin the wire.

Best wire for guitar electronics

Used this wiring for guitar build I did recently. It was very easy to work with, easy to strip back and very flexible. The quality of the cloth braiding is outstanding. Very easy to route this wiring to minimize interference that might affect sound quality. I will buy again if I run out for my next projects.

Much easier to work with because the cloth insulation you can just pull it back to expose wire,less cuts to do.

It's more expensive than my usual brick and mortar source but it appears to be the exact same stuff. And, I didn't have to schedule a trip during their normal business hours, pause work on a current project, leave the shop, nor waste fuel for an approaching assignment that is not a rush job. It also arrived promptly and at least in this case, the shipping was free. Its performance and durability will show themselves soon enough.

Great Stuff! Reminds me of the good old days in the 70’s & 80’s wiring fender guitars! Still at it today.
