I recently purchased this Ultrawall pegboard system to try and get my messy garage in order. Let me tell you, I am blown away by how well this worked for me! The rails were simple to mount on the wall and snap the pegboards onto. I'm not the handiest guy, so this was perfect. I was able to use a bunch of bins, baskets and hooks to customize the space. Now my tools, sports equipment and garden supplies all have a designated spot. My favorite part is the plastic bins - they click right into the pegboard and stay in place without falling off. No more trying to stack things on shelves only to have it all come tumbling down. I had a small hiccup with a few missing pieces in my order. But the seller's customer service was excellent - they promptly sent me the extra parts I needed. I'm very satisfied and can say this Ultrawall system made my garage feel so much more organized. I highly recommend it if you're looking for an easy way to clean up clutter and find a place for everything.

Fits the bill for what I wanted. Sturdy and looks great. Two things kept it from 5 stars. 1) Be prepared for the panels to come dinged and dented. They are easy enough to repair to decent shape which is what I did rather than a return based on other reviews indicating the replacement may come the same way or worse. 2) They should make the peg board panels wider to match the rails. It’s a pain to line them up on studs and you must have a gap between panels to even hit studs. Fortunately I was mounting to exposed studs. Good luck installing over drywall. Other than that it’s a good set for the money. Really like the orange bins and comes with other good hardware.

I am finally organized! I ordered and installed two of these pegboard systems over the workbench I built. What did I like about it? 1) The metal pegboard sections are very sturdy. They look like they're powder-coated. So they shouldn't chip or flake off when tools bang against it. 2) They give you plenty of hanger hooks and orange bins. What didn't I like? 1) They don't provide any wall anchors for sheetrock. They give you hundreds of anchors for brick or concrete - which were worthless in my case. I screwed into the wall studs in a few places. But had to go out and purchase molly-screws for anchoring to the sheetrock. 2) Two of the pegboard panels were damaged (bent slightly) during shipment. Hammering them back straight wasn't a big deal though. Overall, I like the system. Very good quality. Check the pictures. I think you'll agree it turned out nice. Highly recommend this product.

This is a quality product, but be prepared to buy some anchors. The ones that come with the unit says they are for brick only (hmmm - wonder how many of those purchased are mounted to a brick wall? Maybe block. In any case if you use every screw hole in the rails and 4-each for the panels, that's 88 anchors you have to provide, assuming you aren't lucky enough to hit studs regularly or you don't necessarily want to secure the rails with 12 screws each (times 6 rails). It comes reasonably well packaged (made in China and shipped in that cheap Chinese cardboard). Only one of my panels was dented and it was very slight which didn't cause a functional problem. Because you are hanging 10 separate pieces, be prepared to spend at least an hour or more on this project. I started with a level bottom rail and built the pegboard up relying on the leveled first row. Because it is well anchored to the wall (studs and anchors) I think it will hold its own. I am happy with the purchase and how it works and looks, but it is pricey. However the paint is very durable - I had to make a cutout on the bottom rail to go around a surface mounted outlet box and clamped it down in my bench vice to do the cutting. No scratches - which amazed me (I protected the visible part, but the back was unprotected). On thing I did find odd is that the rails are exactly 24" long and about 3/8" - 1/2" longer than the panels when mounted side-by-side. Go figure. I'm going to buy a second unit - this was a lot smaller than I imagined.

The kit is versatile in how you can install it and has fairly good components. Big issue is with fasteners. I ordered 2 kits and both were short the longer screws with the bigger heads. The parts list doesn't even mention them but it would be impossible to assemble as per the directions without these longer fasteners that can go 1/2 inch or more into the studs. Note that these are for the peg board installation as the peg board stands off about 1/2 inch then the sheet rock is another 1/2 inch... the shorter screws are not long enough to use and have the wrong head on them. I got way too many of of the short screws and then 12 of the long ones for one set (you need a minimum of 16) and 4 long in the other set. So I have to run to Ace to get some screws. This is really bad given the cost of this set. I put a pic up showing the difference in the screws. The assembly instructions recommend stud installation so you really do need these fasteners. Also, the screw holes on the smaller plates for hanging yard tools, platforms, etc. are not spaced correctly to work with common stud spacing.

There are a lot of these on the market. What I loved about this one was that it came with ALL the attachments you need. So for starting out you don’t need to buy anything other then this set. This is a great value. Took about 2 hours to install making sure it was set up completely level and securely. Only two small critiques…. I started to run short on screws towards the end because I likely overdid the screws on the first few pieces. Also, when you are attaching the pegboard through to a stud (without the drywall anchors) the screws were barely long enough to catch the stud because of the clearance with the peg board. No big deal in the end though. Result was great.
