Origami Booklet: Fold and Give: Boxes and Pouches (IKEDA PUBLISHIN) JP Oversized – September 12, 2016

I ordered this without knowing much about it and I'm so glad I bought it - it's a gorgeous book. There is a short but interesting section at the front about orikata - which the author calls 'formal origami' and 'the polite ways to wrap with paper' - and a short page of introduction to the history of folding boxes and pouches. The middle part of the book, about two thirds of the total, is beautiful paper which you can tear out to make the models, and the final third of the book is detailed instructions on how to make the models.The text is bilingual in Japanese and English with everything, including all the instructions, clearly described in both languages.Highly recommended.
