Review: Small & slim; easy to use, carry, store - I like this stand a lot. It’s very lightweight so it fits about anywhere (is very slim when closed) and is easy to take anywhere. With the width it’s probably too wide for most backpacks, but a wide slim bag holds it well and it’s very easy to carry. It feels sturdy to me and I notice it stiffens out quite a bit when it’s almost completely open. To me that suggests it’s sturdy anyhow. I’ve been using it for over a year and while I don’t move it a ton, any time I’ve ever needed to it’s easy for me to do. If you have arthritis and your hands give you a lot of trouble you may find it a little challenging to fully open and close. It opens and closes very smoothly but needs a little extra push at full open and to fully close. It’s a very minimal design, just what’s necessary to support an instrument. Very functional. I prefer that and it works well. It’s just what I had in mind and does its job well. I can’t see myself needing to replace it anytime soon and I can’t see any reason to. Plus a free sample of a guitar course was offered along with the product! It came with a little card with a QR code advertising it and a small sticker on the stand itself. Personally I wouldn’t have minded if there were no sticker on the stand so I didn’t have to remove it and the residue, but no harm, it was small and on the side. Fun app, entertaining to use for a bit during the free period (for me it was something like 3 months free.) Review: Holds guitar and holds it well - This guitar stand is a bit different than the ones I am used to. I normally purchase the ones that hold with neck with a little "c" shaped holder. This was the cheapest one I could find and I'm cheap...but I'm not disappointed. It is weird in the way that it holds it. When I first used it, I thought it would fall over as it didn't seem too secure, but I have never had a problem. The only problem I had was when someone accidentally bumped into my head stock and the guitar fell off. If you're not clumsy, I don't see an issue. If you lightly bump into it, it'll be fine. If you accidentally elbow it hard like that person did well...it's gonna fall over. Personally if I bought another stand, I would buy the one that holds the neck too but this one isn't horrible. TLDR: Studiness: 4/5; holds the guitar and withstands light bumps. I tried nudging it and it seems fine. If you full on run into it accidentally the guitar will fall. That is probably a problem most guitar stands will have though Easy to install: 5/5; it just folds open and closed. Value for money: 5/5; for what I paid, it was super cheap. You can spend more on one, but they all do the same thing. If you're running tight on a budget, this stands isn't band. ## Features - A frame guitar stand: folding floor stand for acoustic, electric, bass and classical guitars. - Cushioned contact points: soft foam arms and neoprene padding help protect your guitar's finish. - Sturdy metal build: stable support for daily use at home, in the studio or on stage. - Folds flat: compact design packs away for lessons, gigs, travel and storage. - Non slip rubber feet: keeps the stand steady on hard floors and carpets. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01C5G2TQY | | Base Type | Leg | | Best Sellers Rank | #46,145 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #174 in Stands for Single Guitars & Basses | | Brand | RockJam | | Brand Name | RockJam | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 21,695 Reviews | | Finish Type | Polished | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05025087001219 | | Included Components | Guitar Stand | | Item Dimensions | 15.2 x 12 x 2.4 inches | | Item Highlight | Folding A frame guitar stand with soft foam arms and neoprene padding for acoustic, electric and bass guitars | | Item Shape | A-Shape | | Item Type Name | RockJam Foldable A-Frame Guitar Stand with Cushioned Arms and Rubber Feet.
