Great exercise equipment
The Airwalker is easy to assemble and it takes little space in your home. Its also a sturdy piece of exercise equipment. Im recovering from the 5th Back surgery. The surgeries left me with chronic pain, muscle atrophy and the inability to workout at the gym. After reviewing many pieces of exercise equipment, the Sunny Airwalker appeared to be the safest equipment for me. After 2 weeks of working out, I'm up to 20 mins a day. The Airwalker has given me back the ability to workout. Thank you Airwalker!

Excellent quality and Value
Ok I wanted to wait a few weeks before I gave an honest opinion. We’ll, I love love love this little machine! It’s nearly silent, easy to use but gets that heart rate up there. Finally an exercise I truly enjoy and do not dread. I can tell I’ve lost inches already! I can’t believe it’s down to $79 bucks now, I paid 89 for mine and was happy. It was simple to put together, very compact and easy to move around. I’m only 4’11” so the stride is more than enough for me. The little timer / step counter works great, just push & hold to clear for your next session. TIP I did not use the support bar it just gets in the way. If you lean forward a little you’ll feel more in the back of your legs & butt. Do a slight bend in your knees and a slight lean back and WOW you can feel it in your Abs! I can’t say enough about this mighty little glider. Thanks Sunny Health for helping me get back into to exercising again!

It not perfect but
I have been using home ellipticals for the past 20 years (or more). They always break so you better get warranty protection. However the last one I got broke within 90 days and was always breaking. The guy came out so much that he begged the corp to give my money back and they did. I lost about 2 years of my 2nd daily work out and had broken a 2 a day workout regime that I had going for over 20 years. So, this time I went with a slider/elip that was so inexpensive, that if it breaks after a year, I'll get another. The set up was easy until I got to one part where you have to match up the machine legs to the body. The holes did not align. I was tempted to get out a drill and expand the hole, but they would almost assuredly cause me refund problems. So, with a little bit of muscle and a rubber hammer I knocked that pin into place. Shame on you guy for poor quality control. The slider is far quieter than a regular elliptical, but its a slider. The range of motion was a big, big disappointment. You can't get those wide slides of a regular ellip, but the slide you do get is enough for a home workout. Strangely because the machine is so light, you have to maintain a kind of balance. It's nothing a normal elliptical user can't handle, and I actually like the extra attention I have to pay to balance. It really does make up for the short slide. It's an alright machine. It's cheap and gets the job done. And maybe when this one breaks down, I will up grade to a better slider. but for now, I am working to get back to my 2 a day work outs.

I can't stay off this thing! Love it, Love it!
I've never been athletic, plus exercise must be minimally fun for me to stay with it. I wanted something to keep near my 'work station' in my home office, and that would allow 'no excuses' as far as weather, time of day, etc.. I had gotten out of shape and wanted something low impact (old knee, back and neck injuries) but effective enough to get me back to a decent level of fitness. The Sunny Air Walk Trainer is exactly what I was looking for. Took me about 10 minutes to assemble, was easy to do, machine seems very well constructed and sturdy. So far, I find it doesn't make any noise and operates smoothly. Note if you are short: I am just under 5 feet tall... I temporarily put the 'abdominal pad' in place, and got on the Trainer. The pad, at its lowest setting, hit my upper chest! Needless to say, I left the pad off. Seems like I would have had less freedom of movement with it on anyway, and I don't feel at all unstable without it. I work at home and have the Air Walk Trainer set up in my office. I do 12 minutes while watching a video on the computer while I'm exercising. I plan on working up to 20 minutes a day. Being 55 and sitting way too much for work, I started having a timer on my computer go off every 11 minutes whereupon I stand up and move around for a minute. This habit has made a big difference in how my joints and muscles feel at the end of the day. But now, my minute of 'moving around' is jumping back on the Air Walk Trainer for a minute (I use the timer on the computer that comes with the Trainer, which btw, seems to work fine). Sometimes I'll do 2-3 minutes... I find I just want to keep going. Doing this 5 times per hour, I get in quite a few more minutes of exercise by the end of the work day. For the money, this is a pretty awesome little machine that takes up very little space and does the job for someone my age (55), weight (115) and fitness level (medium low but now going up!). Some years back I had a Gazelle Elite which was okay... but it took up 2-3 times the space, the stride was too long for me, and the pedals were too far apart, causing hip pain. The Sunny Air Walk Trainer is just the right size for me. I love this thing! I had been walking outside but I definitely get a much better 'burn' and workout with the Air Walk Trainer. I'm convinced it's worth every penny and more, and that it give me a routine I can stick with on a daily basis!

Good for the price. I can use this.
If you can afford a more expensive machine, buy one. However, you probably wouldn't be reading this review if you could afford something fancy. I paid less than $100 for this and I expect to get at least that amount of use out of it. I'm 5'8" and the step is a little short for me, but good enough to use for short periods of time. If you're shorter, this might work better for you. If you're taller, I don't know if you'll need a longer step. I bought this to have a standing indoor exercise option to go with my rowing machine and exercise bike, because my seat was getting sore from too much sitting. Now I can switch back and forth. However, I can't see myself using this for long periods of time. I'm using this machine only with the handles, not with the abdomen support piece or the little electronic monitor thing. The handles were easy to put on, but I wasn't able to tighten them enough with the little wrench that is provided with the kit. They still rattled, so I ended up using a longer wrench with more leverage. No extra tools are technically required, but you might benefit from getting a better wrench. The wrenches I bought were "Crescent 10 Pc. 12 Point Metric Combination Wrench Set - CCWS3," and if I remember right, the one that fits the handlebar bolts is #13. The instructions for putting it together are very detailed, in clear English with diagrams, and were fairly easy to figure out though I'm not very mechanical. It took me a bit of time, puzzling over the diagrams, to figure out what parts they were talking about. If you're new to putting together these kits, note that to get bolts properly tight, you need to partially tighten one bolt, then partially tighten the other, alternating back and forth until both are tight and neither one moves. That is a tip that was taught to me by a tool savvy person. If you try to tighten one bolt all the way, then tighten the other bolt all the way, that is not only bad for the life expectancy of the parts, but also causes the part to come loose, which will cause rattling noises and safety issues. Wearing cotton gloves from the hardware store makes it more comfortable to use the wrench, which digs into your palms otherwise. The tool included in the kit does not have a comfortable grip. Gloves, and therefore lack of pain when using the wrench, enables you to get the bolts tighter. However, don't tighten too much, or you'll strip the bolt! Stripping the bolt means the parts are damaged and can no longer be tightened, and the whole machine will no longer be usable. That's why you want to alternate back and forth, until you can't turn either bolt with a reasonable push. This process is not difficult, but I've noticed that assembly instructions for kits like this never give people that advice, and I think it would be frustrating not to know it. One thing you should know is that the little electronic monitor runs on an old-fashioned battery, I think AAA or smaller, and not the smaller, more long-lasting battery that powers most modern electronic devices. I don't plan to use the monitor anyway, so that's a non-issue for me. With the bolts properly tightened, the machine seems sturdy. There's a very small amount of noise. I'll be playing music anyway. I don't want to guess how long this will hold up, but like I said, I think I'll get $100 worth of exercise out of it. It takes up even less room than I expected from reading the description. I have hardwood floors, and so far it has not rocked or slid, though they recommend using a mat. I was somewhat hoping to use it without holding onto the handles, but without also breaking my neck. Doing that is NOT recommended by the company! If you have sufficient core strength, maybe that will work, but you wouldn't want to fall off the pedals. After a few steps, I ended up grabbing the handles again for stability. If you don't want a machine where you have to hold the handles, this is probably not the machine for you. If something majorly goes wrong or changes, I'll try to remember to update this review. I've just finished putting it together, and wanted to review it while the experience was still fresh in my mind.

Love This Air Walk Pro!
First off, it was one of the BEST packed pieces of exercise equipment that I've ever gotten. THANK YOU SUNNY!! It was very easy to put together. Took me about 1/2 hour. It's quit and compact. I can store it aside each day and don't even have to fold up! After five minutes, you start working up a sweat. Love the stride length and how easy it is to move. Very low impact but, with great results. No noise at all, either. I've only been using for about a week but will come back with any updates. I'm very impressed with the quality, too.

It gave me a headache. Literally.
I've been thinking about getting an elliptical for home use for quite a while now. After a lot of research and a nice tax refund, I finally decided to pick this one up. It's a little hard to find reviews for it, but I was hoping that the fact that it wasn't completely cheap (you can find ellipticals for less than a third of the price of this one - sure, they're probably going to break your leg when they decide to fall apart, but they're there) would mean it was going to be worth it; after all, I'm 6'3" and needed to find one that had a longer stride length. Now comes the fun. The first problem occurred when UPS sent me an alert on the day of delivery, stating that they damaged the box, but that they were still going to deliver it. Of course, it never arrived. Amazon's consistently great customer service helped me immediately and shipped out another one for no extra charge, at least. So, almost two weeks after I originally ordered this (with Prime), it arrives on my doorstep looking like it tried to tear apart the box in a desperate attempt to get free (there were actual parts of the elliptical completely exposed). I'm really impressed with the UPS driver, who somehow managed to lug this thing to my doorstep on his own - it's heavy. Really, really heavy. Which probably explains why the box was so torn up, now that I think about it. Regardless, figuring I had nothing to lose but time if it was damaged, I put it together. It took me at least an hour or so, but the finished product looked good. Of course, I jump right on and notice that it makes a grinding, rumbling sound whenever the flywheel moves (and yes, I made sure to remove the wood block and lessen the tension). Awesome. Amazon unsurprisingly wants me to disassemble it and ship it back before they refund me, and when I showed them how badly damaged the box was upon delivery, they told me to put it in another box. Call me crazy, but where am I going to find a box big enough for this without going to a specialty store and paying a fortune? Instead, I'm putting it back in the original and trying my best to Frankenstein it into something that will survive the trip back home. A one star review may sound harsh, but this is exercise equipment - it either works or it doesn't. And this doesn't. Oh, and one of the handles flew off and hit me square on the head when I was taking it apart in what was likely a final act of defiance from this blasted thing. I'm basically out three or four hours of my life and a LOT of packaging tape and have nothing to show for it. Learn from my mistakes.

Works for me
I am in late 50s, average weight, not athletic, but in a good shape, and not fond of gyms, workout, and sweat. But I am used to a lot of walking, taking public transportation, and standing in class. That made me move up to 7 hours a day. With Covid, things changed: online teaching, lots of seating, working on the computer, etc. In the summer, I walk little outdoors due to very low tolerance to heat and humidity. This summarizes my need for this machine. Thanks to all the reviews, I bought it. It took 10 min to screw all the bolts on, and it was ready to work. I first used, but quickly removed, the press holder, for more movement. The elliptical is sturdy, makes no noise (I keep it on a yoga mat). is compact, and relatively easy to move around as needed, or fold and put away. It is ergonomic. I feel good tension in many areas when I walk on it: upper arms, legs, knees, buttocks, feet, toes, torso, neck. I invented several types of movement and have fun with them: skiing (with elevating the heel while on the pedals, and bending knees), torso twist walking (I turn left and right while "walking"), "Pinoccio" walk (leaning back on the air and using the straight leg posture, pulling back on the arm handles), and some others :) I also use various speeds of walking. This machine gives me as much walking as I desire during those days when I have to stay home due to heat and work a lot online. Each day I feel more toning in all the muscles that are engaged in this walking. The fact that it has no expensive resistance device in it doesn't bother me at all, because this thing can make you sweat and workout a lot, if that is what you want. It is the right elliptical for me, at the right price, and at the appropriate level of assembly and functionality.
