Kura Nutrition Plant Based Vegan Protein Powder, Vanilla, New Zealand Born, 5.8oz

This is a great-tasting vanilla vegan protein blend without stevia. I have tried many brands including Sunwarrior, Garden of Life and Vega, all which use stevia and have that mysterious overly sweet aftertaste which overpowers the flavors of anything you blend it with. I stumbled on this brand when browsing Amazon and gave it a try because of the clean ingredients. It is a winner! Blends well into smoothies and doesn't have that overtly sweet taste. Great find!

This is the best vegan protein I tried so far, and I tried many before. The downside is the price but the taste is fantastic and it doesn't have any artificial sweeteners. The other brands I tried either were natural but had a bad taste or tasted reasonably well but had artificial sweeteners, which for me is astonishing given that, in my opinion, vegan protein is supposed to promote your health - not ruin it!

Loved the taste but the bag was too small. I should have looked at measurements first. Already recommended it to friends. I love it in the blender with cranberry juice.

Very very small packaging! The taste isn’t great. Not the best option to pick from for vegan protein.

Tastes much better to me than brown rice protein, and is less grainy.

The product arrived timely and well packaged. I notice on the site that the grain feed product seems to have more rotein than this vegetarian blend has, so that is something to take note of when considering this product.I mixed it with juices and it blends in well, doesn't leave too much of an over powering taste, but you definitely can taste the product. This product does state that it provides 15 grams of protein, and that it is organic.I find you really need to use a blender to get this product to mix up well with the other items you are using in your smoothie. The flavor provides a light chocolate taste and it does leave somewhat of a taste in your mouth when done so you will likely want to rinse to get the taste out of your mouth. I found the resealable zipper on the package does not work too well, so just be careful thinking it is sealed and it may not be really be sealed.The proce is a bit high I think for this product, bt not bad. I can give this product a 4 star rating, and recommend it to others to use..

Mixes well and smooth into smoothies or even just with different juices or milk alternatives. No strong overtones in flavors or sweeteners. Good vegan ingredients and that is reflected in the price. This is only a 12 serving pouch. The zip closure on mine did not line up, so I rolled the bag and used an elastic, but even the largest size (12 servings) bag will be used up before spoilage would be an issue.Personally, I think this is a good product with good ingredients and there are a variety of other flavors that interest me, but if "vegan" isn't a deal breaker for you than I believe that there are other, possibly better, alternatives out there for you. If it must be vegan, then I definitely would recommend this.

Kura's vegan powder is a good choice for those who are willing to pay a premium for a plant-based powder that delivers 15g or protein and does not include any artificial sweeteners. The powder is very fine in consistency, which allows it to mix easily into soy milk, fruit juice or other drinks. The vanilla flavor complements other ingredients well, and it is easy to digest. You only get 12 servings from this pouch, however, and I was unable to reseal the pouch after opening, requiring me to use a rubber band to keep it closed between servings.
