Strong bags, excellent drainage
This is an excellent growing option for potatoes and other root vegetables. The bags are tall with plenty of room for your veggies to grow; my potatoes are thriving in these bags. The material is thick but breathable and provides excellent drainage. There is a flap on the side of each bag so you can check on the progress of your vegetables without digging them up. My potatoes are doing well, but still have about a month to go before they are ready. There are handles on each side of the bag so you can move the bags if they are in an area that isn't getting enough sunlight. Even when the bags are full they are easy to move and the handles are strong. I have two sets of these and I highly recommend them.

Great value
The bags are a great value for the price. The thickness and quality of the bags is really good. Because of the size of the bag you will need to soak the dirt to assure the water reaches the bottom of the bag. The bags served their function of planting my vegetables and so far have held up well.

Watch out for mushroom growth.
The OPPOLIFE grow bags are reusable, very sturdy, and thick with handles that are reinforced so the bag can be lifted with dirt in it and not tear. The bags does have good drainage, but can sometimes leave the bag wet for to long. The grow bags are a great value if you are wanting to start a garden without the work and large expense of starting in the ground. Plants will grow in them with no problem. One downside. Mushrooms will grow outside of the bag if the bag is not constantly exposed to the sun to keep the grow bag dry. I have a bag on my deck and out in my yard. The bags in my yard does not accumulate Mushrooms on the side of the bag unless the bag is lacking sunlight. Overall, I'd give these grow bags 7/10

Poor material
This item is not the best quality. The material is very thin. I don’t expect to get more than one years use out of this item.

Nice way to keep potatoes wrangled
These are just the size I was hoping for and now that I've planted them we'll see how they do. They are pretty tough and have nice handles for ease of planting and placing in my garden area.

I seem to get what I ordered. I’m not sure how long these will hold up, but for this growing season, they seem to be doing the job. Detailed instructions would’ve been nice, but I found some on another site that gave specifics on how to grow potatoes in a grow bag.

This review evaluates the “Heavy Duty 10 Gallon Aeration Fabric Potato Grow Bags with Two Flap Windows (4-Pack)” made by OPPOLIFE. The product was shipped with no excessive or wasteful packaging. What’s in the box: four (4) heavy-duty 10-gallon aeration fabric potato grow bags. First impressions: Good quality. The fabric is tightly woven yet has the ability to let air and moisture to freely pass. The seams are well stitched and the fabric seems like it would be very hard to tear or rip. There are two clear plastic windows that are covered by a fabric flap that is secured by Velcro (aka hook and loop strips). This is handy for those who are curious and want to see just how big their potatoes are growing. They are really quite large and hold a lot of topsoil. Not much else to say about this product from a quality aspect – they fit and they do their job well. I missed the growing season here in Northern Ontario (it’s short!) by the time I got these bags, but I will be putting them into service in May of next year. One thing I like is that you can relatively easily move these bags around the yard to get the best sunshine and bring them inside your garage if frost is forecasted. This will allow people in colder climates to get an earlier start on their sensitive plants like tomatoes and cucumbers. Note: Each bag holding 10 gallons of moderately moist potting soil will weigh approximately 115 lbs. Since I am evaluating this product as part of the Amazon Vine program, I am limited to a 30-day window to submit a review. In order to determine long-term durability, I intend to monitor this product over the next 12-18 months. Should anything change over this period, I will update this review accordingly. Cost-effectiveness and value: Overall I am satisfied with this product, they are well made and save space. At a current price of $29.99 or $7.50 each, I feel they are of great value for the quality and functionality delivered. In summary: the “Heavy Duty 10 Gallon Aeration Fabric Potato Grow Bags with Two Flap Windows (4-Pack)” made by OPPOLIFE are quality made offer a lot of growing flexibility and options. I would recommend this product without reservation. Pros 👍: ✔ Well-made from quality materials. ✔ Fabric is tough and hard to rip. ✔ Fabric allows air and moisture to pass freely through. ✔ Good stitching and well put together. ✔ Two clear plastic viewing windows (covered by a Velcro-attached flap of fabric. ✔ Generous 10-gallon (38 lire) size. ✔ Allows you to move your plants around for the best sun exposure and to bring them inside if frost is forecasted. ✔ Great price point, good value. Cons👎: ✘ None!

Skipping to the most important part- these are premium quality bags that you can grow anything in but are absolutely marvelous for potatoes. Have a gander at the attached photo to see how thick they are! The current price of these OPPOLIFE grow bags (even without a coupon) is eye-bugging-outly low. Based on my experience with cheaply made, no-name, flimsy grow bags, the seller’s claim that these will last 5 years or more is a conservative estimate of their lifespan. With the price of food continuing to go up it’s a good time to consider making your family more self-sufficient in this regard. If you don’t already have a garden with good soil, grow bags allow one to step as gently into gardening as one wishes. You won’t even need to dig a garden plot. Just consider what types of vegetable you want to grow, find out what each considers as its ideal soil, and fill up your grow bags accordingly. Your first season you might even get a better crop (per square meter) than your traditional garden-plot neighbors because they will have used soil that’s good for most plants but tailored to none. Don’t like where your little growbag gardening patch is? Just pick up the bags and move them! Is an already-hot summer getting even hotter? Move your garden to a shadier place. These 10 gallon grow bags are great for root vegetables that need deep soil such as carrots and parsnips, but they are awesome for potatoes. Most vegetables don’t need a sub-surface access port, but for harvesting potatoes, they are wonderful. I haven’t even seen grow bags with two access points before. Next year I plan on harvesting baby potatoes from near the access ports and allowing potatoes closer to the center to reach further into maturity. How cool is that, fellow lovers of freshly harvested baby potatoes?! Unlike cake, you CAN have your potatoes and eat them too. Just so you know: potatoes grow best in well-drained, light, deep, loose compost, high in organic matter with a soil with a pH of 4.8 to 5.5. It’s too late in the season to grow potatoes this year, but I’m going to spend my whole winter thinking about planting some in the spring. I love it that I’ll be able to access my potatoes from either side. In the interim, these grow bags fold up to use only a small amount of space.
