Fantasic little sprayer
I tried an awful Taclife HPLV sprayer which cost three times this one. It really put me off this types of sprayers but I was in a bind and couldn't afford an airless system. I got this one off the back of Peter Millards YouTube videos. Have to stay, I'm really impressed. Its slow, of course for such a little unit, but the results are great. Its super simple to use, was up and running in five mins. Very easy to clean. The results are great. Its not going to match systems costing hundreds or thousands but if you take it easy, the results are very flat and very smooth. Brilliant value.

Lightweight but effective
I have only used the Terratek to paint some bookcase unit doors using acrylic undercoat and and eggshell finish so far. I have not used the sprayer with any oil based product yet. My experience was as follows. Pros - The spray goes on smoothly and with no stutter. Easy to use and clean Inepensive Cons - Very loud Hose is short and could be more flexible. Short power lead Conclusion. An excellent spray unit for the occasional DIY job. Very good value for money

Decibels
I used the spray gun set for painting body parts from a 1963 Lambretta scooter I’m restoring. In the limited amount of use the spray appears to have made a decent job and thus pleases me. However what I wasn’t expecting was the amount of noise it makes. It’s very loud. This made a difference to my markings on the review.

Broke on the very first use!
I bought this on a recommendation from a previous user; I was sceptical re its cost having never been a fan of cheap tools but I thought Id give it a go; now due to covid 19 I've had this for some time before actually using it but that doesn't reflect on the issue I found. It all went together well and seemed to fit prooerly; I was disappointed to find that what I assumed was the air volume 'control' where the pipe fits is actually only for show and doesn't affect the air flow at all (its not attached to anything inside to restrict/open the flow of air) The spray nozzle looks lial but in fact is just cheap poorly moulded plastic. It was initally set to a vertical spray pattern which was fine; but when I turned the unit off, slackened off the spray nozzle sleeve to move it and turn it to horizontal it just fell apart; I don't know whether it was broken when it was installed at the factory of whether the air flowing through it was too much for the very thin plastic but it was unusable after that. To be fair the first coat that went on was ok, very spotty in places but you can't expect a £30 sprayer to give the same finish as a £600 sprayer. Coupled with the fact that the whole unit gets extremely hot after just 10 minutes and the hos constantly comes out I decided to cut my losses and just dumped the whole lot straight into the nearest bin. Lesson learnt, won't be buying cheap again.

Cracking little spray unit
I bought this unit based on price and the product description. Absolutely worth the money. So far, I've sprayed both sides of a long garden fence and all sides of a medium sized shed. The wood stain had to be diluted a little to make it flow but this was easy. The spray bottle could do with being a larger capacity but I was still getting good coverage before having to refill (which was just a minor niggle). The spray pattern was consistent and the adjustable nozzle made it easy to coat all areas evenly. The finish was very appealing and consumption of wood stain was lower than I expected and overall better than using a big brush. The spray head and all parts were easy to dissassemble and clean. I never experienced any spray blockages. All in all, a cracking little spray and dare I say, fun to use.

annoying short pipe
So it has taken me 2 years to build a spray booth and pluck up the courage... all very simple and very easy , love the spare pot [ takes a nutella screw cap btw] BUT .... really annoying design , the paint feeder pipe passes thru a rubber flange at the top of the paint pot , the suction on that flange pulls the pipe out of the gun head , paint gets in the joint making it slippy and it never seals again until you stop, wash everything , let it dry and start again, so one x ten minute paint session each time . I d try another brand .

Easy to use
Painted some fence panels with this, worked well had to dilute about10% worked great the tube did block at one time but it is easily cleaned. I have used a cheaper one that was awful ,for the money pretty good.
