Tired of fumbling with phone pics on your monocular?
If you use your monocular to take pictures with your phone, you know it's almost impossible to keep the phone level and directed on the subject you're photographing. Even when using a tripod, this situation is still an issue. This product seemed to be a good solution for the problem. Upon opening the box, it contained the lens apparatus, a charging cord, extensions for the grabbers and manual. It's pretty straight forward but get your magnifying glass out for the manual. The lens has a couple of wheels that turn and three grabbers that slide toward the center of the unit when the wheels are turned. You turn the wheels until the grabbers slide into the outer edge, place the unit over your monocular lens, then turn the wheels in the opposite direction to secure the unit to your monocular making sure it sits flush and centered. There's an app that you need to download to take pictures and video on your phone. That was pretty easy to set up using wifi according to the instructions. My only complaints with the app are that it defaults to video (but some people might like it that way) and the pictures appear a little fuzzy in the app. I typically use this for wildlife type photos, so when the Ospreys come back in the spring, I'll have to update this. Value-wise it seems a little pricey, but it works well and seems to be quality built.

Simple and clear
This is a great little device. It was pretty easy to follow the instructions and get it attached to my telescope. I tried this at a few lengths and with a few lenses and because it's just a camera attached to the telescope's lens, there's nothing to worry about with focus for this device. It's pretty simple and as a good way to add digital recording capabilities to your star-gazing without leaving your phone attached to the telescope.

Connection glitches if you close the app, but good quality camera
Product is useful if you have a second phone. Unfortunately I was trying to connect and every time I had something else pulled up, I completely lost connection to the eyepiece.

Great For Sky-Watching With My Kids
This has been a welcome addition for my telescope. My kiddos like sky-watching with me, and this let's them see while keeping little hands from accidentally moving the scope.
