About the Presto (or Comparable) Skillet with 99 Recipes
This is a well-written book about the Presto electric skillet, with 99 recipes suited for it or any comparable electric skillet. It includes related material that may be of interest – a brief history of nonstick pan cookware, tips for using it, why it’s useful, what’s great about it in relation to other cooking methods (a hint, it’s healthier), and how to use and maintain your cookware. Most of this book consists of the 99 recipes, which are organized based on the main ingredient (beef, poultry, fish, pork, soups, veggies and sides, sweets and desserts, breakfasts, and marinades). Each recipe is presented separately in a common format: name and description, prep time, cook time, number of servings, ingredients, preparation directions, nutritional facts (calories, saturated fat, carbs, vitamins), and a nutritional analysis. If you have a Presto or other type of skillet, you’ll probably find this book well worth its modest price.

Convenient cooking with a plethora of recipes to choose from
Fabulous cookbook! LOADS of recipes I haven't seen in any other cookbook. I LOVE how fast and convenient cooking with the electric skillet is and these recipes have all been custom-tailored to use with the electric skillet in order to maximize flavors and get the most from each meal. Marvelous read that I'd recommend to anyone looking to mix things up in the kitchen.

Preston electric skillet cookbook
Purchased this skillet for cooking while rv_ing. Now I have a cook book with some very interesting recipes. Some instructions are confusing (peel potatoes- no slicing instructions - then place potatoes in skillet - whole? - I presume sliced).Thank you for this book and your time compiling it.

Kindle edition has issues, unfortunately
The Kindle edition contains numerous proofreading errors. Many are minor, but some errors unfortunately are material and affect the utility of the book. The latter type include, for example, failing to list ingredients and failing to specify the quantity of an ingredient. And we aren't talking salt and pepper here. So, if I'm making, say, a spinach and basil pesto, I'd appreciate the author's original thoughts to at least ballpark the quantities of spinach and basil we're using. I don't make pesto often, and basil can be overpowering. I'd have to do a Google search to fix that particular recipe. Other recipes contain similar proofreading mistakes .Anyway, the Kindle edition still needs editing work before it can be of maximum value to the purchaser. My only other gripe: the author suggests using canned ingredients, like pasta sauce, cream of mushroom soup, etc. Suggesting canned ingredients rather obviates the need for a cookbook in the first place, no? Or am I wrong here?

Not useful for electric skillet cooking...
I was looking forward to receiving the Electric Skillet Complete cookbook, but was disappointed after reading through it; it's very Incomplete. Forget the spelling errors, and inconsistencies in measurements.. For an author who claims she crafted the recipes for use in her own electric skillet, there is little mention of temperature changes in the recipes. Occasionally, you'll see one at 400 degrees, but some only indicate "medium" temperature. What temp is medium?? Most recipes don't even give a temperature; i.e. "Squash and Garlic Eggplant Lasagna. 'In a non-stick skillet, add and cook the eggplant, zuccini and squash for 10 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 5 more minutes....etc" No mention of temperature. For Grilled Cheese sandwiches it cautions not to burn them. Hmmm, at which temperature do we start to "grill them". It's not even mentioned in the one "temperature chart of greatness" in the beginning of the book ! For a quick meal that involves very little "cooking" , the "minced meatball garlic spaghetti" is the winner. For 35 minute prep time, there is NO meatball recipe, but you can place spaghetti sauce, meatballs and dry pasta in a non-stick electric skillet until it boils (no temp) then cover and simmer for 25 min. (what temp is simmer?) So, prep time and cooking time is listed as 35 minutes each. Remember to stir the noodles to keep from sticking."Several recipes instruct me to take out my SECOND electric skillet to complete the recipe !!! This is my first electric skillet, and after this I may never buy another if I can't find an instruction book that works. Apparently, Presto doesn't make one anymore. I don't want to continue testing recipes on my own, wasting time and money on ruined groceries. This is not a "complete" electric skillet cookbook. I am amazed that it got published. I will be sending my copy back.

Missing ingredients
There are multiple recipes that are missing ingredients. Ingredients are in cooking instructions but not on the list and the other way around. I suppose I will adjust to my own preferences but couldn’t recommend as a good book to have
