KICKER KM8 8-Inch (200mm) Marine Coaxial Speakers with 1-Inch (25mm) Tweeters, LED, 4-Ohm,Charcoal and White Grilles

These things rock! I’ve had mine for 3 years but I wound up blowing 2 of them (my fault) so I needed replacements. I have 4 on my tower and I have no problem drowning others music out on an island. Sound quality is good as long as you tune your amp correctly.

Installed 4 of these on my boat. They sound great and the LED lights are pretty cool, I bought the wireless remote to control them. I put a bead of silicon around all of them but haven’t had any splashes or water on them yet so can’t report on the longevity. Only issue was instructions state the installation hole should be 6 9/16” but I used a 6 5/8 hole saw and still had to shave the inside of the holes for the speakers to fit. Overall nice speakers for the money.

I’m a 58 year old female who loves DIY’ing. I was told that my transom would only allow 6” Kickers by Scarab experts on a group page. Well me wanting the best sound I had to push it. I installed 8” Kickers w/the remote on the transom myself and saved me $1,400.00 an Audio Pro shop wanted. I saved myself that $$$$. It took me 2 days, one cutting the wholes in & the next installing them. I only connected the blue LEDs because my interior lights are all blue. So easy to install and the sound is Amazing. Just have a listen for your self. A definite must get!

Wow! I went from (2) 6.5" $50 speakers to these. I'm running 150 watts to each. They are so much louder and full than I expected. The punchy lows and clarity of the mid make it hard to believe what I'm hearing. I'm used to high end stuff like JL Audio and these impress!! Now I want couple more of them. When you take them out of the box they are heavy. Only down is the arrived at my door in the sales box so everyone who saw them knew what they are. Not cool. Glad they didn't get stolen. Seller should know better but didn't care obviously.

Speakers are not rated at 150 RMS I promise you I tuned my amp at 24.49 per kicker tech support and the tweeters cut out at high volume. I bought a real 8” Skar audio speaker and installed under same specs they do not miss a beat save your money do not buy from this seller their speakers are junk !!!! In the pic you will see their tiny 8” speaker that measures 7 against a true 8” Skar
