My gray cat passed away unexpectedly. He was my constant shadow, and would always be on my lap every night. My bf bought this for me hoping to provide some comfort while I'm mourning and missing him so much. With this, I feel like my beautiful boy is still with me. The weight is much less, but it's perfect for now. I even rest him over my recliner arm and find comfort just resting my arm on him, too. The fur is so soft, and it's so well made. The size is perfect. I'm very pleased with it. I'm sure anyone, child or adult, would find comfort with this weighted stuffed pillow. Very grateful that there is something like this available for all ages.

My grandson was going through some issues which we suspected to be ADHD but he hadn't been diagnosed yet. My daughter had been trying several things to help him with those issues such as stress balls and other items to try to calm him. He was biting himself as his method so we needed an alternative. I purchased this and gave him a weighted blanket. He loves his "kitty" and carries it around, even sleeps with it. At 8 years old, he has refused to use a blanket for several years but would sleep under pillows. The weighted blanket and this cat changed that and he now uses them. The cat helps calm him through the day. He did finally get the diagnosis of ADHD and the school actually purchased him something like this but plain (more like a small weighted lap blanket) so he could have this at home and a less "distracting" one at school. This is very soft, has a decent weight, great quality, you can unzip the outside and wash it. I gave it as a birthday gift. The appearance is very nice. The price was great for the value of helping calm him.

My daughter loves this weighted cat. Cat is so soft, a great weighted lap stuffed animal. For the money, it’s well made, incredibly durable, and a large size. We did not notice any odd smell upon opening the cat.

First off, I'm still shocked at how soft this thing is! I didn't expect quality like this from Amazon. Second, I'm looking at buying one for myself I love it that much lol but I might get a different animal (the sloth or the bear) to keep things less confusing. I find myself sneaking the cat whenever the kids aren't playing with it because draping the weighted cat over my chest is so so calming, reduces anxiety, and it even holds warmth under it from your body for a while. My 7 yr old sleeps with it on her chest every night. This is perfect for autistic people in general or anyone with sensory issues who likes deep pressure. (The cat isn't too heavy by any means. I'd say it's just right. The weighted part is in it's body, arms, and legs. The head and tail aren't weighted.)

It's very soft. The inside weight comes out very easily which is great for washing. But it is actually a little too heavy for my 3 and 4 year old that they dont use it as much as they could.

Autistic daughter loves it. The cover can come of to wash but I wish the inside was easier to clean and was easier to tie the legs back in after washing. Aside from that its a great product.

My 10yr old son is currently awaiting a diagnosis for Autism and ADHD and he absolutely adores his weighted cat! - Called Fudge Cake. He has been really struggling with his motor and verbal ticks, also relying heavily on our cats for emotional support (but this was to much for our pets and I could see a change in their behaviour). So i decided to buy him this and it's not left his side 😺 our pet cats have also had some much needed rest from being dragged around everywhere. This is a wonderful product and idea. Very soft. The perfect size and weight! He can carry it around and cuddle it no problem 🙌 would highly recommend for any neuro-divergent person 🩷🩷🩷

Ce chat lesté a un poids bien réparti par le lest qui est amovible (pratique pour laver la peluche après avoir retiré la garniture lestée). En parlant de peluche, elle est très douce au toucher, ce qui est extrêmement agréable et apporte un + pour aider à s'apaiser (tsa et trouble anxieux). En revanche, l'expression de ce chat a l'air bien triste (en même temps, comme c'est une couverture, il a un peu l'aspect d'un félin écrasé par une voiture donc logique qu'il ait l'air chafouin 😿🤷🏻‍♀️). Sinon, très bon produit 👍

Mein Neffe (4 Jahre alt) liebt die Katze sehr vom ersten Moment. Er findet es sehr lustig, dass sie, in vergleich zu anderen Plüschtieren, ungewohnt schwer ist (2 Kg , das ist ihm aber gar kein Problem). Er kuschelt sie, küsst sie, hebt sie gerne. Zum Schlafen braucht er noch seine Mamma. Wir hoffen, dass er evtl. später mit der Katze alleine einschlafen kann. Seine Mamma liebt die Katze auch und findet es sehr angenehm die Katze auf Oberkörper liegen zu lassen. Sehr empfehlenswert.
