I had very high expectations for this stuff and I was hoping that I could make it a daily addition to my shakes, but like others have said, the new formula is garbage... The texture is very gritty and seems as though they mixed it with some extremely cheap whey protein. I really had hoped for more, but this thing went into the trash as soon as I got it. 8/11/16 **Update** I was contacted by Nuts 'N More in regards to my review and they offered to send me a new shipment of their new formula. The new formula was 100% better than the previous version and has become a daily addition to my morning shake. When the order arrived I noticed that some separation had occurred because the top portion was VERY salty, but a good stir quickly changed things. The taste is such a drastic difference in comparison to their old formula. Less gritty and tastes like it was made with higher quality protein and actually tastes how I felt cookie butter should taste. I greatly appreciate them reaching out to me and I believe that is how customer service should be handled by every company. Thank you Nuts 'N More team. 2/22/17 **Update** Since my review is getting more attention than I had anticipated I thought I would provide another update on this stuff. I am still using this on a near every day basis. I've found that adding a spoonful to a protein shake or a bowl of oatmeal is a great way add some additional protein and a wonderful flavor. I've tried a few of their other flavors and still have not found one that I liked more than the cookie butter.

I bought the cookie butter flavor because I'm a big fan of Biscoff spread, even thought I knew this one wasn't going to be exactly the same. It certainly tastes nice (kind of slightly warm, slightly spiced peanut butter) and I was happy to see it has a bit of protein and fiber and was also pretty low in sugar. Definitely does not taste like the full-sugar Biscoff butter, so don't buy this product expecting it to be a replica flavor-wise or texture-wise. But I guess this was not the flavor that made me go "OMG I need to keep buying this forevar!" I'll certainly eat it and it's by no means bad, but I just may not make a repeat purchase, especially for $13+ for such a small jar (I get why, I understand low-sugar/protein/fiber/diet products tend to be more expensive). I kind of wish I could get a bunch of sample packets of different flavors to try before committing to purchasing a whole jar. I do love how smooth and spreadable it is, and after it had been exposed to the inside of my warm car for a bit, it was practically liquid and I'd be lying if I said I did not consider taking a shot of it right from the jar and consuming my entire daily allotment of calories in one mouthful. It was tasty, but I don't think it's going to be a regular purchase for me. But it's a different and somewhat more nutritionally sound alternative to everyday peanut butter, so if you're looking to just add a little variety to your pantry, it's at least worth a try, I think.

Being a Trader Joe's cookie butter fanatic is hard for me because I will literally eat the jar in one day. Just give me a spoon. A couple months ago, I started really cleaning up my diet and upping my protein intake and discovered these protein nut butters that are all over social media. Buff Bake, nuts n' more, etc. I happened to stumble on this flavor on Amazon (can't find it in stores yet) and thought there's no way this will taste like cookie butter, but let's give it a try. You guys... This stuff is absolutely delicious and it tastes like cookie butter. Some people have commented that its runny but if you mix it up really well it's not THAT runny. I put it on toast and rice cakes and it's perfectly fine - definitely not dripping all over the place. Also, people have commented on the texture saying that it's gritty. To me, it's not that gritty at all, and the little grittiness it does have makes it that much more delicious. I thought this would be a great healthy alternative to cookie butter, but I end up just spooning this out of the jar all night too. Sigh. At least this nut butter has added protein and not as much sugar. Highly recommend.

This cookie butter spread is pretty good; however, there are a few things that it failed to deliver on. The taste is reasonable and similar to cookie butter, but not really. Is very sweet due to the non-sugar sweetener and the fact that it is not real sugar is apparent, but I would not expect it to be since it is supposed to be a "healthy alternative" to peanut butter. The cookie butter flavor and non-sugar sweetener make for an overpowering effect and make the peanut butter taste almost nil, which was disappointing. Texture wise it doesn't have the same chunks that cookie butter does and so it lacks the texture of real cookie butter. Overall, I do feel better about eating this instead of normal peanut butter due to the fact that it has more protein for the same amount of calories. Also, it allows me to switch it up and have a different flavor for spreads. However, it is not something that I would eat more than a couple times per week.
