I dump some into a plastic bowl and apply with a cheap paint brush. I do a light first coat so it doesn't get through to my desk. When it dries it is very easy to slide parchment paper underneath and then give it a good second coat, especially the edges where i went light the first coat. Sometimes i do a third coat on the back but not always. I don’t think its necessary. I get 3 1000-piece puzzles from one jar of glue. And if some does get through to the desk, warm water is all you need for cleanup.
