Question 1

Why so much B12? Isn't the recommended dosage per day 2.4mcg, this is 500mcg.

Do not take! B12 is wayyy too high in this based on personal experience. The vitamins worked great for about 2 weeks but then I started feeling awful with fatigue, headaches, body aches, etc. that kept getting worse over the course of a week. I stopped taking all supplements for about a month and I gradually felt back to normal. Hmm, I thought. So I incorporated just this multivitamin back into my day to day and within 3 days, symptoms immediately started coming back. Stopped taking the vitamins again and within 2 days I was almost back to normal. Something in here in the ingredient list is off and I'm pretty certain it's the B12. All of the symptoms mentioned are listed as side effects of too much B12. Look elsewhere for a multi unless you're severely B12 deficient

Will this potentially lead to hair growth due to the DV %?

I don't really know if it will help with hair growth.  I don't have that problem but my daughter has hair issues and was in need of some good vitamins.  After I started on them and had success I started my husband who was struggling with some issues and I could tell a difference in him in a week or two.  I started her on them and she never misses a day without them.  They have helped her hair but it wasn't all the answer.  We are still searching for that but I think it will continue to improve as she has only been on them for a couple of months.  I have tried a lot of vitamins in my lifetime and never found one as good as this one.  For my family anyway.

Two reviews mention the smell--how bad do the capsules smell?

They do smell, but I'm not sure that's necessarily a bad thing. I can imagine other companies adding more artificial ingredients to conceal the smell and that's could be a worse alternative.

Besides, the description of the product clearly explains the reason behind it. As per the description:
"Natural Color Variation: O.N.E. Multivitamin is a light yellow powder with dark speckles, and does have a distinct odor/taste. The odor/taste is due to the selenium and choline."

Question 4

Why does the description include fluid oz. of anything if these are capsules?

I believe it is an error from the company listing the product...not the product itself. This product is a capsule full of dry powder. No liquid and you definitely don't take with a dropper like this site says. I do really like the vitamin. 1 capsule a day enabled me not to have to get B 12 shots anymore. My body likes the active B vitamin forms in these vitamins and it was recommended by my Dr.
