Simplurfi Stereo Array Spacing Bar Microphone Mount with Ruled Markings

A good solid slide bar for mounting microphones (and their clips) for stereo recording purposes, also likely to be adaptable to other purposes as it could be easily adapted to 1/4 inch threaded inserts for camera mounts as I have done in the past, a good and useful accessory for your AV toolbag.

If what is required is a simple way to mount two mics on a single stand, e.g. for stereo recording, this item does the job. Simple to fit to a boom arm and with enough adjustment as well as not weighing a lot. Only four stars as the first example had a machine fault with one of the screws which prevented it from sliding along the slot in the mounting bar. I was able to return and order a replacement (which was fine) but it was a simple problem that shouldn't really happen. But then it is Chinese so has come half way around the world, provided a profit for a number of people along the way and didn't cost much so....

Whilst at some point I will be using this for it's intended purpose as I do record podcasts my main reason for placing the order at this time was as a camera mount. Not as odd as it sounds. I often review action cameras on YouTube and as part of the process I will do comparisons, this bar is a simple way of ensuring that all the cameras share a similar field of view and is able to hold 3 cameras at any one time though you do need your own fixings as those supplied with the bar are obviously not intended to be used this way. An excellent all round engineered chunk of metal!

Arrived minus the necessary metal adapters and fittings, making it useless. It seems to be well made, but Amazon's returns policy means I won't have this item, and I will have to pay much more for an item to replace it.

Keep having to tighten it more than I'd expect. It is a great product for the price, I think I have one mic that's too heavy so is probably me, but great product, works fine with 2 x SM58s.

Trying out X/Y technique and this bar makes it so easy! I like the solid metal build and the simplicity of the design. It slides easily for adjusting the spacing and stays in place really well after tightening the screws. It gets the job done. No complaints.

Price wise not that good. Not value for money. But, product is good quality and It's really high price.

I'm using two recording systems for my singing with piano playing, and I have been switching between two microphones and stands from time to time for different purposes, it causes some scratches on top of my piano! Until I bought Simplurfi Microphone Bar, it made my recording easier, I can now have my dynamics and condenser microphones on the same stand with this little gadget! It is well made and high quality. I also use it to hook up the microphone and the selfie lamp, it is a very useful multifunctional tool for the price.
