Depends on your purpose
If you are looking for a proper Gong sound, this may disappoint you.I use it as a substitute for a bell, which I previously used a phone app, this serves me the purpose.It comes with a small stick to ring the gong and the stick can be hooked on to the bell. I found this extremely useful.

Great but poor quality
I absolutely love this! I bought it for our sales team to ding when making a sale but it arrived broke.. the paint is also chipped and the ball foot was broken off the stand!!! So disappointed after spending a tenner on this!!
