Camera does not work consistently. For the price, this should not be such a pain. Worked for about 6 months, changed as card, powers on intermittently until it finally stops working altogether. We not buy another product.

Overall very good. I feel like i've seen as good or better camera quality for slightly less than this costs. I recommend at least 256GB since even that couldn't hold the entirety of a ~4 hour drive (I also use a rear cam). The app has updated since I got the camera and it is slightly better, but sometimes connection to the camera drops and can be slow, especially transferring videos to your phone. Installing was easy and the quality is good

I bought this dashcam a very very long time ago I've always had cheap dash cams that were just low quality one dashcam I had got too hot amd jiat died on the spot, saw this one and let me tell you it's perfect, also I use the rear one for an interior view since I drive Lyft as a side gig. Captures entire car and it keeps 24 hours worth of video saved (enough for me personally) pretty high quality video and sleek thin looks nice sits just under the mirror in my car.

Video quality is very poor especially compared to cheaper cams out there. Videos are grainy even in the middle of the day with full sunlight. Other cheaper dashcams that have the same starvis 2 image sensor have much higher clarity and they also enable hdr and other key features of this image sensor. Do not waste your money on the name like i did. I’ve wanted a blackvue cam for years only to be horribly disappointed by their flagship model. The complete lack of firmware updates related to quality improvements is demoralizing. Support appears to just blame operator error for everything and deflects their own blame in poor implementation of an excellent sensor. Don’t even get me started on the app. Boo all around.

Bought it 2 years ago and it works well but due to heat it keeps falling off from the windshield. How can I get a new pair of mount sticky pads for this camera? I tried regular ones but they keep falling off. New App is working better than before.
