Mercury Adhesives Flex Starter Pack

This is my second try with Mercury Flex. I bought this for finishing as that is what it was designed for. On my first purchase I didn't like it. Finishes just didn't work and I usually had to remove it and replace it with something else. With all the positive comments here, and other places, I thought I just got a bad batch. I decided to try again. This time it worked. But, for me, it's really no better than similar products that aren't at the premium price. I'm staying with StarBond.

This the best CA finish I have ever applied. Goes on easily and buffs up to nice deep shine.

I was told this product was Hypo-Allergenic for people that are allergic to CA Glue because it is odorless and fume-less. My fiance is highly allergic to CA Glue, and still had a reaction to this glue as well. I have no side-effects from using either glue, so in my use of it, it does the job well, unfortunate my fiance who needs to use it cannot.

If you have two days to do one pen with a super glue coating, then this is the glue for you. This was the slowest drying super glue I have ever used. I ran out of activator long before I ran out of glue, I think they do this on purpose as a marketing ploy. If you ever get it to dry it does give a good coating. I will not buy this product again.
